Have you heard the audio upgraded audio in the ST's? Curious to how this would compare to the upgraded audio in the srt. Also always the ability to get a much better tune for the st to really put that to rest.
Don’t feed the troll. That’s all that guy is.

Cool! No responses means people agree that a fully warrantied Durango SRT 392 is not any faster than a fully warrantied FP tuned Explorer ST.

Here's my dragy and just one vid that proves yt it ...

That video doesn't prove any thing except that once again you are full of shit. A quick Google search shows the the time in that video is way off. And you don't have a full factory drive train warranty. You only have 3/36 warranty you lying piece of crap.

This!

Im sure already lost his warranty by now LOL 392 or stock ST would still retain its drivetrain for a couple more years/miles

No sir, I haven't heard the upgraded B&O audio for the ST, so I can't speak to that.

And I know there are 3rd party tunes that make more hp, but I was comparing vehicles that still retain their power train warranties. The best I've run on the factory backed FP tune is 0-60 in 4.7 sec and a 13.15 sec quarter mile. That's almost exactly what 392 Durango's run, so I'm happy with that.
You don't have a powertrain warranty. You have a 3/36 FP warranty, but you already know that.

You don't have a powertrain warranty. You have a 3/36 FP warranty, but you already know that.
More precisely, the FP tune doesn't void the powertrain aspect of the 3/36 bumper-to-bumper (as do aftermarket tunes), which I'm sure you aleady knew.

But it voids the longer 5/60 powertrain warranty that the 392 and stock ST would still have.....

Another 4.8 sec 0-60 mph today, which includes tire spin on the cold pavement and tools/Winter items still in the car.

And no 3rd party tunes to void any warranties on the power train. Ford Performance really hit it out of the ball park.

Factory tune met/exceeded all my expectations. Well done FP.

No it doesn't. I have clarified this with the FP team so many times. There is still the chance they could blame the tune but it does not "void" anything.

Poorly worded by me, you are correct, but thats no different than any other tune.

The point of Mr CatholicFireDude is the FP tune retains the full new warranty while others "dont". Outside of the 3/36, all tunes are a gamble on the powertrain warranty including the FP Tune.

No worries but yep. That’s why once my main warranty is up, I will consider zfg. But honestly, I’ve been very happy with the FP tune. Especially now that it automatically disables the auto start stop feature.

How does an X5 with 65 less horsepower outrun the Ford, which weighs slightly less than the BMW, by 2 tenths of a second? Either Ford engineers need some physics lessons or BMW needs to come clean about horsepower numbers….
