Hi everyone! New to the Forum. Since I haven't found MY25 Explorer Order Guide anywhere online, here it is! While I like many of the new things, I was really disappointed to see Magnetite colored wheels on the ST instead of the typical black. I wonder if there will be a black wheel offered later on in production. 401A package is gone, with many options now standard. No more Active Park Assist 2.0, good thing my wife can parallel park. ENJOY!

It's the new google system. A welcome change IMHO!

Thought I did see Sync 3 on the list. So how do you get Sync updates over the air?

Google does all their updates OTA.

It's a far superior system to anything Ford could or would ever produce. The fact that they finally letting someone else do their multimedia system should be seen as extremely positive. SYNC of any version is a disaster from start to finish.

I used the GM Google system in a rental 2023 Chevrolet Silverado and was very impressed. The only downside is some features are restricted and only accessed with a monetized subscription. You can log in with your Google account and your synced up right away. I think most new vehicle owners are likely to have a cellular plan with unlimited data so data shouldnt be an issue.

It would make sense for OEMs to design systems that can connect and tether off your cell phone. I really don't want to be compelled into paying for some subscription service which is essentially another cell phone plan.

Congrats. Did you do a Build & Price and contact a dealer or just reached out to your local dealer? Spill the beans...any mark up? Expected in transit date? What did you pay? :D Ihave a Z plan and hoping Ford allows it on pre-order or when first arrives on lots.

I use the build and price website and email the build link to my sales guy. I do all the IT work for this particular Ford Dealer, so they give me 4% under Invoice on both the MY24 F150 LARIAT and MY25 Explorer ST orders. Delivery estimate sometime early summer, but that can quickly change; as we all have see what's going on in auto industry lately.

I really like the blue one they keep showing. I think it goes well with the new ST wheels. My wife is the ST's primary driver and that color seems to be perfect for the ladies.

Yeah, I like it too. Need to see it in person though. From the pics and videos it looks kind of like Ole Miss powder blue. I'll probably order a white one to match my F150, but need to test drive one when they start arriving next quarter.

Congrats! Grey w/ Black roof is gonna look great! Just had her listen to the Thermal R&D 3" Cat Back system and she said, "Yes, please!" Gonna do a CAI and Intercooler w/ all the plumbing. For warranty sake, we may do the Ford Performance Tune for the extra 30-50 HP.

agreed 100% exhaust is happening on this one for sure and would love to do the FP tune but can’t get a definitive answer from anyone if it will for sure work with the 25. I have no reason it wouldn’t as it’s the same engine but that’s an $800 gamble I don’t feel like taking. Also looking at the MBRP exhaust. I figure the money I save with XPlan why not put it into the car.

L33der, I couldn't agree more on the wheels. I was disappointed to see that Ford only offers (1) wheel/rim option, which brings me to my question, does Ford sells wheels/rims separately? I really liked my 2023's black rims. Not a fan of the current ones offered.

it would be cheaper to buy correct size rims from a wheel/rim vendor. I intend to do this!
