New to the forum. We bought our new Silver Spruce ST two weeks ago and love it so far. Joined this forum to see if all the clicking noises coming from under the hood after shut down ate normal as well as anything else I can learn from others.

Congrats and welcome from another fellow Silver Spruce BadasST owner.

Yes those noises are normal, hear them all the time, have no idea what they are... but this truck is incredibly fun to drive!

Welcome! I hear the same thing. I just assumed it was the vehicle sensing the key fob and preparing to start up all of the electrical components so you have to wait less time once you actually get in and turn it on.

Thanks for the responses. I’m glad to hear it’s not just mine, must be normal if so many others are experiencing the same thing. Guess I won’t worry about it. Really like this car so far but then I’ve been a Ford guy my whole life!

Retired automotive fuel systems engineer
Have a 2020 ST purchased from Jones Ford in Buckeye, AZ December of 2019

Have owned 6 ecoboost vehicles
all tuned
They are
2011 F150 3.5L ECOBOOST tuned with Livernois

Welcome
We purchased our ST from Jones Ford in Buckeye on 12/31/2019
The noise you hear are the shift motors for the 4wd system
Ford issued a TSB to explain the noise
For some reason I can't seem to find it now
Maybe another member can find it
