My last explorer I installed a grill guard on it and I loved it. I'm considering it again however, I'm curious if anyone has installed the black horse grille guard on there explorer's yet? I can't find any photos but I do not wanna jump on something when I only have a half assed rendering to go based on.

Sorry for the unreasonably late reply, but I got the photo of the black horse website.

Resurrecting an older thread here, but has anybody had any experience installing a push bumper or some sort of a grille guard on their ST? Does it work? Or does it interfere with the parking sensors or the adaptive cruise radar at all?

I did find a post a long time ago that used the police style push guard. They interfered with the proximity sensors so they bought a bracket that mounts to the push bar to relocate the sensor.
I still have yet to see someone with a black horse grille guard. I won’t pull the trigger till I see a photo that’s not a shitty rendering.

I did discover this image on google. Now that I’ve seen an explorer ST with one rather than a shitty rendering I find myself more tempted to buy one. I just wish there were more clear up close photos. 757F6A41-C05D-441A-8D4D-076057EEF599.png

Hmmm... I understand the utilitarian need for such things but, um... personal taste is, well... personal.

I'm not putting a chastity belt on my Rapid Red ST. She's allowed to have fun in front and her trailer hitch is also exposed. She's not an STI afterall.

This looks great! I assume it is the Black Horse Off Road Grille Guard. Do you know SKU b/c when I look it up all I get is for a 1998-2004 Chevy S-10 Blazer.

Also - How do you like the Timberline Wheels and Tire combo? I am thinking of swapping mine out as well and curious if notice any significant performance loss and/or rubbing where I believe they are ever so slightly larger than our stock wheels.

Thanks
