I always liked the oval tips on the Aviators…so I upsized that idea and did some welding. IMG_3491.jpeg

I noticed today the tips are round,,,,but the pipes turn down before the end of pipe..guess to prevent leg burns
Like the 15 16 and 17 expeditions
I put on the ford pem splash guards today
Hmm noticed the skid plate was not there. Guess Monday it goes on order..pretty dumb leaving a plastic pan thst close to the ground naked. We get lots of debris on roads here.

Today I installed the steeda rear sway bar, steeda vertical link inserts, and the eibach rear springs. I discovered that if you remove the vertical link, the lower control arm can be pried down enough to pop out the rear springs pretty easy, no need to drop the rear subframe or loosen the subframe bolts. My old fat ass is worn out from getting up and down from the creeper about a 100 times today so tomorrow I'll install the steeda pinion support bushings and the eibach front springs.

Just got done data logging my first revision of the ZFG 93 Performance tune and WOW! what a difference in just the baseline tune!! Gotta give it to Adam and company!! Great company and even better product! Excited to see what else this thing can do!

Finally got around to installing my Whipple intercooler, AFE hot side piping and momentum intake, Fenfab charge pipe, Ford black badges and UPR catch can.

Is there any noticable difference in sound after installing the aFe intake system? I was thinking about doing the complete system as well (everything from the CAI to the charge pipe) but with such minimal gains I had a hard time pulling the trigger. From everything I've read, the stock system flows just fine unless you upgrade the turbos and start getting over 600 Hp. But now I'm hearing the change in sound is awesome. I've never had a CAI set-up make any sound so I'm guessing it has to do with the turbos. I'm just curious to hear how much different it sounds.

I haven't driven it that much yet since finishing up yesterday. So far i really do not notice that much difference.

I may have to get a CAI setup. Just ordered new turbos so I have to inhale more air. If I can get away with just a drop-in hi flow filter, I'll stay with that but if not, I'll be looking at the S&B intake. If it comes to that, I'll post any differences in sound.

Used the explorer to test my flat tow harness for lights in the f150.
Took it a minute to see the connection, then boom had brake and turn signals at rear of f150
