Hello All! About a week ago my 2020 Explorer St started to make a metal dragging noise after going over some speed bumps. Well the noise continued and turned into a loud screeching. The car was towed to my local mechanic and the dreaded "We can't replicate the noise and can't find anything wrong". I am headed to the Ford dealer next week for two recalls, alignment, and having them look at this. Anyone else experience something similar? I will attach a YouTube link to the video trust me you will not miss it. Thank you in advance!!

Rock stuck between heat shield and rotor.

Very likely, or at least heat shield bent up against rotor or rock stuck under a brake pad.

A few hard stops in reverse may cure this issue.

It’s what the others have said. It’s a rock. It has happened to me once.
