Hello all, the headrest will no longer stay up on the right side of the 3rd row. Any suggestions? It’s autofolding seats, if that helps.

I'm sorry to say that I can't be helpful - I have no knowledge of the inner-workings for the seat.
This is, however, a gag I cannot pass up, so....

My 2020 had similar issue. One of the headrests was stuck in the up position. They had to replace the mechanism that was shown in the previous post. They were able to temporarily lower it for me while waiting on parts. Once they did that it wouldn’t lock in the up position as you are experiencing.

You need a new headrest mechanism assembly. There are some YouTube’s on how to DIY if you are comfortable.

Has anyone done the DIY fix and if so, how was it? My dealer wanted $700 to fix mine.

from watching the videos, the hardest part to me looks like removing the seat cover. Seems like it would be worth a try to avoid $700 bill.

Same issue here. Ive seen 1 video going over it but havent attempted it...yet. Not sure as to the specific part number either. Keep us posted. Curious as to how difficult this actually is.

Regards,

Luis

Ditto. The video floating around makes it look pretty straight forward but between this and the pano roof shade repair, Im almost like meh. Let the dealer have at it when I trade it in one day. Would love to see some folks here fix and post the process...
