Always enjoy popping into this thread after a couple weeks. Finally had some time to tint the lights. Not sure about doing the front corners but happy with how it all turned out. Love that Lethal's kit has everything!

maybe its the angle
but those rear lights look like they sticking way out or falling off
or like little winglets :LOL:

Haha it’s the wide angle lens to get picture while I was still backed in to the garage.

Installed Lethal Performance Mid Pipes. The OEM flexs were shot and loud. What a relief to finally fix!

Wanted to add a little contrast to the ST badging, because it blends in a little too well with RR. So I picked a color on the other end of the color wheel. Maybe I should've kept it in my purse. But for now I like it.

A few weeks ago, changing my oil and noticed oil all around the front of the pan and leaking from the FDAD, so I had the dealer fix those under warranty. They even used the nice, black painted PI axle on the driver's side. Still the rusty one on the passenger side. :(

It was also time for new rotors and pads. GT350 rotors aren't too bad at $350ish each, but I wanted to see if I could save a few $$$. I found some Wagner replacement rotors on sale for $75 each at RockAuto. Now these are 1-piece, but they only weigh 3lbs more than the OEM Ford ones. I'm sure I'll get crap for cheaping out here but hey, it's a consumable part and I'm ballin on a budget! I figure this falls in line with getting Chinese tires to save some money.

So for anyone doing the GT350 front brake swap as it's fairly budget-friendly, here's another way to make it even friendlier.

It is NOT a bulletproof solution, but you can test things like color juxtaposition pretty easily.
You can take a photo of your vehicle in good lighting, bring it into almost any photo editing program, and color the small area you plan to change.
Yes, unless you have a white-balanced your camera and use a color-accurate monitor, it isn't really accurate.
It will however give you an idea of how good it may be

ps, some hints are that when looking at colors, the names are "complimentary" (exact opposite on the color wheel), and "split complimentary", which are the 2 colors equadistant from the opposite color.

This is overkill and for UI, but it will definitely help.

Quick day trip to Waco. Explorer did great averaging 24-26mpg. IATs sitting just over 5 degrees or so from outside temps. Summers are hot in Texas.

PS CVF intercooler is doing its job!

Installed the Aeroskin. I liked the black letters contrast on the white but it's a pain to polish/ceramic. Did the same to my '17 Sport. Only wish they made the Aeroskin II for the Explorer. Put one on my '16 F150 and it protected the hood and deflected 90% of the bugs.

Installed a dash cam. I chickened out and only installed the front using the mirror and a dongar tech connector. I had a dash cam in my Charger connected the same way. This time I installed it on the passenger side of the rear view mirror, the headliner is already near eye level for me so I didn't need more visibility issues.

Picked up the ST after installing the Stage 5 CRPs and DPs. Waiting for the base map tune so I can drive it.

Installed the snailfly running boards
Aside from pretty terrible instructions
They went on pretty easy
I kept my front ford mudflaps. So a small trimming of front cap was required
Easy peaky
They should have just put good pictures on a page.. with arrows
Anyway. Wife is happy as she is vertically challenged

While under the car..I noticed lots of cut outs in lower plastic as if a ford areo kit of some kind was intended
Where are they selling the everest
It has running boards and trim on lowers

I was surprised at how sturdy they are
My 230lb svelte frame didnt make them wiggle
