Where do you have it mounted in the ST?
Thanks
I do recommend using the screws that are included. The double sided tape stuff that comes with it did well up until recently with this hot weather. This mount ONLY works with an IWB holster. If you're planning in carrying OWB then you will have to buy 2 holsters. 1 on your waist and the other to leave on the mount which if that's the case I would go for a setup like Bluey!

You guys are definitely serious about your personal safety!
Unfortunately the states I'm usually in, don't allow for an openly-accessible unit like that.

I'm in Cali as well but recently received my CCW. Getting it through Los Angeles county took me a year and 8 months smh.

I like your rig. I switch guns depending on the situation. So it will take any holster as long as its in the pants style?

I lived in Hermosa for a couple of years. Carried daily…never had an issue…or a license in CA.

Yes and as long as it has their proprietary holster clip. So I'd imagine if you can install the clip onto a different brand holster that's also IWB you're able to use the mount. You'll also have to buy holsters for every other gun you're planning on carrying unless they have the same outer dimensions for example a glock 17 & glock 22 you can use the same one.

On a side note, you can probably get away with using an OWB holster but it will hang upside down (assuming you're right handed like I am).

Calculated risk…just like this week while I’m in Chicago on business.
Haven’t gone downtown without carrying in 20 years. Fortunately the gestspo said I can do it legally now. Many of my industrial clients were not in good neighborhoods.

I’ll make it work. My only prob is I have a magnet in the same spot of your holster area and my leg hits the pistol, (right now a p365xl with optic). I usually wear it till it annoys me on long trips. I have a long scar down my right hip that it irritates sometimes.
Always trying to find the optimum spot. This might solve the problem. I have a big box of holsters. Prob have one for every gun every occasion. Prob have more than socks, lol.
Thanks again.

I have the same we the people holster and moved it closer to the seat more by my thigh rather than by my knee and I dont bump into it at all there or if i do I haven't noticed. The down side off this is that if you dont have dark tints the handle is slightly visible through the window so to remedy this on the rare occasion I leave it in the car i cover the mount with a microfiber and stick it in the glovebox.

Yeah my tints are pretty dark. I also rarely leave my firearms in my truck but if I do I leave it in the center console safe.

Ditto on tint and console vault. I also removed the rear seats and built a lockable storage compartment for other toys.

Chicago land here. In the spring summer, I carry a compact 9mm
with 12 hollow points in a sneaky Pete holster on the front/side of my belt.
Looks like something you would carry a cell phone in.....
Its right there out in the open with a magnetized flap and the gun is right there inside.
Seat belt tucks under it.
Fall Winter, its either a browning hi power or a 1911A1.
And those can be put in the door shelf / pockets while traveling.
Illinois... Yea I'm packin. Of course I am. I live in Chicago land.
The state that banned rifles that carry over 10 rounds, but allows 15 rounds in pistols.
And guess what type of weapons the criminals who do all the killing and car jacking and armed robberies are carrying?
Pistols of course. Only they upped the ante. Now they are carrying pistols modified to fire fully automatic with extended mags. And what do the authorities in Chicago do about the people caught with them??
Dam near nothing. They slap an ankle monitor on them and let them go about commiting more crimes. You want to see an example of one party rule and defunding the police and socialisim in action? Go to Chicago. Or better yet, do yourself a favor and dont go.
I worked in the heart of Chicago for 32 years. I wont set foot there now for any reason.
Im in "Chicago Land"
Of course I'm packing.

crime in Chicago.

It only gets left in the car if I cannot bring it with me. It goes straight into the gun vault.
If I leave the vehicle, It goes back on my hip.

Those gun vaults are great. I’ve had them in every vehicle over the years
