What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

OK, second foray under the car.
This wasn't hard but I don't have an impact wrench and I did it with the car on the ground. Doable but you have to contort yourself a bit to get leverage on those big bolts. An impact wrench would make this infinitely easier.
Didn't get to drive it yet because of reasons but this is the first performance mod I've done to the vehicle and I'm excited to see how it changes.

Installed Eibach lowering springs today. Measuring from wheel center to fender, the front dropped 1 3/4" and the rear dropped 2 1/4". Measurements and after pic was after driving around over a half dozen speed bumps, a couple of launches and general driving for about 30 minutes. It no longer does the floaty bounce over the neighborhood speed bumps, slightly stiffer ride as expected, feels much better. I will be doing a rear sway bar to go along with it.
I have done a bunch of other things over the past two weeks since buying it: Husky floor mats and cargo liner, hitch cover and locking pin, mud guards, anti glare screen protector on head unit, silicone license plate frame, black Ford emblems, Gorilla black lug nuts, Radar Mount and wiring, front windows and top of windshield tinted, Covercraft windshield sunscreen, ST pedal covers, Mishimoto catch can, removed hood lettering.
And more parts are on the way or to be ordered still.

Swapped out the rear black badge with the black one on my vapor blue 2025. I think it matches much better with the otherwise Black / Vapor Blue / Red palette. Did it while in a parking lot waiting for my kid's soccer practice, and brought little plastic scrapers and plastic prybars, fishing line and Goo Gone, and it still took roughly 30 minutes of cleaning after managing to finally pry the old blue logo off. The new one is OEM, so I suspect that new foam/glue is also not going anywhere!
Had an internet outage at home today and enjoyed the tech drooling over it in the driveway.
I wish there were a youtube of exactly how to replace the front badge on a 2025 (specifically) without pulling the entire front grille off.

I have done nothing to my ST today, as its in the shop for 2nd and 3rd row seat issues. Dealer said its the power seat control module. wont have the part till tomorrow so I wait. New Wheels are scheduled for installation on Saturday. Hope I get it back in time!! I did install the Metal ST pedals the other day took me all of 5 mins to get those in.
Installed the TuxMat 3 row floor-liners. They look fantastic and give a better feel over the hard plastic ones like WeatherTech.
I also removed the dealership sticker on the rear hatch, can’t stand those.
Next up, going to get all glass tinted for heat rejection and get PPF installed.

Finished making her nice and dark.
And installed a furniture leg protector VTA (LOL). [Not sure that's a permanent mod but I got bored and it cost me a dollar 98.
Roof rail delete next. Give me some confidence about how easy it is
@BrooseDaMoose tagged you so you could see how the wheels turned out. Just plastidip with a top coat of luxury metal. (Worst plastidip product I've ever used in my life, and I'm a life long dipper) Turned out good IMO, I like how they match the plastic moldings. Until I do paint matched.

Got the Car back from the dealership yesterday Power folding seats are now fixed. This Morning I got the new Rims installed and I think it looks better now. before and after. Since the before picture was taken I have added front Tint, Door handle black covers, Embossed Explorer decals for the doors. Debating on painting the calipers RED or sticking with the unpainted silver look and keeping the car silver and black all around.
