Is your car being built or is it sitting on the lot?

I know I’m a bit of a different situation, my car is sitting on the lot waiting for the fix. Talked to my dealership today and they said now the permanent fix is said to be coming late November- early December

just sucks how unprofessional everyone is being. A little communication between the dealerships/ford and those of us waiting would go a long way. We love our fords but this is just out of hand. The new 2024 traverse is looking quite nice.

I’m sending something similar. Bought my car the day after the stop sale was put in place. Dealership has this car in their lot since December. No communication unless we contact them first.

The recall states the build dates October 19, 2018 through May 2, 2023 are the ones with camera problems. So please explain how I’m “not exactly correct”

I just would like to know the dealerships that are releasing/delivering people their explorers with the interim fix. I’ll either go to that dealership or have mine call them.

Hey, can I ask the name of your dealership? My dealer said they want to talk to a dealer that released an explorer to an owner before releasing mine to me.

Can I ask what state you’re in? My dealer said that the august 7th fix won’t apply to my car and I still have to wait. He’s not exactly been helpful. I love the explorer and wait to wait it out but I need a car, like 3 months ago.
