Second time it's gone 11.69 at the track, first time doing it full weight. DA was nearly perfect 1000 at the time of this run. Might have been able to squeeze another hundreth or two off 60' time if I adjusted air pressure, but I forgot to load the air compressor so I raced on what I rolled in...
Full disclosure, that 11.69 was with the two rear seats removed and spare tire removed. Quickest full weight pass was 11.82 but I've never done a full max rpm launch yet.
I'm a bit jaded against Livernois from my past experiences, but if I was advising someone using their tune, I would...
It doesn't do well in empty lots. I've tried using mine twice in nearly empty lots, it lets me drive by endless empty spaces, but as soon as there is another car, it finds an available spot and then parks right next to the other vehicle.
Once he sees the difference in yours, I predict he will have a ZFG tune on his very quickly.
LMS had the same issue a few years back in the SHO world. I was one of many that had the issue, hard launch and all the sudden when it should be in 2nd gear it felt like it went to neutral. They told...
Ya I send all logs using the phone and app. Just remember to fill out a tuning request thru the website after you send it so that you are offically in line for him to look at it.
One other thing to watch out for, if you don't use it for a few weeks or months and then get a revision or something...
I think you have to go into vehicle config and type your vehicle strategy # and save it for the data to come up on the channels. I've only used it thru laptop once but I feel like that exact same thing happened to me until I typed the strategy in.
I think my system update took a few days for it to finally finish. It took so long I gave up on it working, but the sync one went smooth as silk.
If all else fails, try disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes and try the update again.
That's the second time I read it wrong. LOL! I did the update back in December and sat in it for 20 minutes just idling while it did the update.
Maybe try a different thumb drive? I had also upgraded the main system software previous to doing the sync upgrade, so maybe that could be a factor.
Reset the mileage while you are driving somewhere flat and straight that you can just cruise at 55-65 mph for a few minutes. You should be mid to high 20's in those conditions. If you are under 20 mpg driving at those speeds on a flat road, something is wrong. City driving and idling will bring...
They may have just thrown a cap on it for you. I used a dollar chair cap and clamp on mine. It's pretty obvious what the opening is, so I'd bet money you are absolutely fine, they'd have to be incompetent to miss that.
Driver side...follow the pipe from the driver side air filter, it's at the very bottom where the tube bends towards the driver side turbo. Hole will be on passenger side of that pipe, as the models with the blowoff valve have the valve directly below where the intake housing sits. That's where...
You sure you're looking at the comments for the same video? I usually get some crazy comments on the vids, but I just double checked that video and I'm not seeing those. I wish I was cuz those sound hilarious.
New full weight street PB. Haven't done too many high rpm launches since the cooler months, got down to 66 last night so I was curious and hit the mean streets of mexico to see what she'd do.
