Project When I get ST back...

It would be a good time to install the intercooler and front emblem while disassembled.

I do not want to be the one to test.

Thanks for asking. I was wondering too.

    Park brake automatically on

Same caliper and pads. There is an electric servo that applies and releases the parking brake.

    Rooftop Tents

I was wondering how this would work on any vehicle as I am sure they would all have a weight limit much less than two adults (okay less than one adult if I am the example), plus the tent. But generally those weight limits would be for regular driving conditions, not when parked. It will be...

    Performance Tuning

I paid Lethal Performance around $700 US to purchase the tuner and tune and my local ASE certified mechanic $55 CDN to install it. About $1000 CDN total.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Just made a 250 mile trip for work. No issues with regular driving. I have been leaving it in Sport mode and hitting the gas hard as much as possible. To a lay person like me, it just seems to be a little more responsive off the line and the rear end drops like a real sports car now. No other...

    Interesting Crash Comparison

Wow. I wouldn't want it to happen to me, but I think the Explorer was one of the better ones. If you could call any of those a winner that is.

    Ford Performance Tune

My 2020 is a four bolt and the FP tune is vin specific, just wondering if it is not covered by the recall for some reason?

    Ford Performance Tune

Hi, yep performance tune installed, no auto parking brake. I have only driven it about 30 km so far so I have little to comment on yet. The one thing I have noticed is that it really sits down on a launch now. Cheers.

    New SYNC Update 23188

I did hook up a charger too, but it did not take as long as the last one.

    New SYNC Update 23188

Hi, just the ignition on, engine off. This update took just a few minutes. I don't even think you would need a battery charger. Turn the lights off.

    Brakes

I painted my standard brake calipers and brackets red. I guess I cheated. Future buyer beware.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

The mechanic I went to charged me 30 minutes of shop time. It took about 20 minutes total start to finish including attaching the battery charger and closing the hood when done.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Hey, I am in Northern Ontario. I bought the tune from Lethal, but had it installed here in the North Bay area. Good luck with your install.

    Ford Performance Tune

Finally installed the Ford Performance tune today. I picked it up at Lethal and the local ASE certified mechanic installed it for $55. I was pleasantly surprised that the automatically applied parking brake "safety" feature was not included in the tune. Cheers.

    My ST died today

Sorry, I caught that. I was responding to Autoworker. Glad your issue had an easy fix. I just hooked up the charger to mine tonight.

    FS Whipple Mega Intercooler

I will take the black and chrome Ford emblems, please.

    My ST died today

Could it be an automatic update connecting to wi-fi? That would drain the battery. Wouldn't it?

    Stock 20" Width?

It looks like a 295/50R20 can also fit on an 8.5" rim. I am not endorsing it will work with an ST, but should be safe to mount.
