    alignment shops around Cleveland

This is the adjustment point that most shops and even dealers may not be aware of. Do this yourself and then go to the dealer for an alignment. https://www.explorerst.org/threads/alignment-specs-camber.3875/#post-86031 FYI, my Ford dealer in Fairlawn does Roush. They did NOT correct my rear...

    PIU struts/shocks

The 3.0L Ecoboost PIU is the highest performing PIU variant. If you want to duplicate the suspension, try to get a VIN# from one and ask a dealer to search for the parts. Supposedly, even the drivetrain mounts are heavy duty.

    No Oil From Factory?

If they've been driving it lately, then no, it must've had oil but now, for whatever reason, it doesn't. Should be covered under warranty though.

    Steeda Rear Dif Brace

you have a 2020ST? Unless you go crazy with the mods, you likely do not need the rear differential brace. But yes to the subframe bushing supports.

Yes, but they also replaced the driver's side half shaft for some reason.... was the boot leaking grease?

Hello Ive got a black 2020 explorer st a few days ago (Concerns)

Any idea what maintenance/recalls done? Here are some of the common 2020 issues: 1) downpipe (Cat) exhaust leak (recall), 2) front axle boot leak (both sides), 3) midpipe flex section leak/failure (both sides), 4) front axle disconnect actuator leak, and 5) multiple modules needing firmware...

Costco Michelin wipers or Ford OEM

I recommend you head on over to Walmart: RainX Expert Fit Beam 26-2, 22-2, 11MC rear I feel these are just as good as Bosch Icon at 1/2 the cost.

    PIU struts/shocks

J is fully assembled including top mount, dust shield, etc. V is just the bare shock--you wouldneed to break down the rear shock assembly and reuse the stock parts. To me, the price difference is negligible... get the J

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

This thread is proof it pays to wait. Let your dealer get a few under their belt so that there is less chance for mess ups.

    New SYNC Update 23188

Are you on Sync 3.4 23188? That's the whole point of this thread. Go to your Sync settings and see what version you have. If it's not 23188, go to the Ford site and load up a USB stick to upgrade. Wifi upgrade may not work because of the older version messes with a number of functions.

    2020 Audio Control Module

Could also be the DSP. As far as programming, tis from the service manual: ACM The ACM requires PMI when it is replaced. DSP The DSP is a power amplifier for the vehicle speakers. The audio input signal comes from the ACM via the Automobile Audio Bus (A2B) cable. It may drive all speakers on...

    Rear differential leaking

Id investigate a little more. Support the rear diff and pull that bolt. I find it hard to believe the oil would track out through the bolt/bushing yet leave the rest ofthe cover bone dry. Maybe it's a fluid filled bushing?

    Leaking oil?

Dealers tend not to do anything until a code appears. With just a leak, the dealer will be replacing only the O-ring with the revised part. That said, I externally sealed the FADA leak with Permatex red sealant and also Permatex spray sealant, after cleaning with brake cleaner (as mentioned...

    Leaking oil?

Yes. To slap on th O-ring on a FADAis the same work as doing the new intermediate shaft except you have to reflash theAWD module. The driver's axle is different but they already haveto replace yours if leaking. Just say you worry about theFADA failing and would like the new intermediate shaft...

Tune caused P0035 and P2418 codes

It's probably the Cobb tune. There are differences in stock tunes depending on your vehicle. Most tuners will take your stock calibration and apply their changes. Even my Livernois canned tunes are given to me based on what my stock calibration is. Does Cobb do the same?
