Well guys just found out what makes our st sound like a legit supercar

death rattle + drone + obnoxiously loud = trifecta hard pass

    Engine Rail Safety Issue

I'm not saying this is the cause, but choosing the "lowest cost" supplier is typically a bad idea. Not just Ford, but many automakers are seeing more and more major quality issues. They are saving in inital costs, but long term it is biting them and their shareholders in the ass hard.

Introducing Thermal R&D 3-inch Exhaust system! (Sound Clips)

I've had my 2.5" TR&D on since Oct2021, zero drone. I've been running it with FenFab catted DPs the entire time.

CV Fab Intercooler in Prototype Stage

Looks identical to the Whipple in every way, including fittings and brackets, but coated black. Just get the Whipple and skip the 12 month (says 4, right......) wait. Mushimoto has been develping theirs for the better part of a year now with no end in sight.

Borla S Type vs MBRP Armor Pro

I wouldn't go with any "cat-back" unless it was a true cat-back and replaced the OEM flex sections. AFAIK Thermal and AFE are the only ones that make a true cat-back system. Lethal makes the midpipes as well. I have been running Thermal with FenFab catted DPs since Oct21 and absolutely love...

Help. Whistle Sound After Intercooler Install

it would be a louder hissing sound if you were making full boost due to more air coming out of the leak path. Check all of your connections again and make sure the fitting you install on the driver side of the Whipple has thread sealant on it and is properly tightened. Also make sure the air...

    CarPlay only half Screen. HELP!

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A, Select then Start.....voila, full screen. Seriously though, this has been covered since the 2020 was released in 2019. With Ford moving to Android for their OS they will 99.9999999% not develop new capabilities for Sync in our...

    FenFab Intake Install Instructions

If using the FenFab intake you will vent your BOV to atmosphere, no plug needed. There are no provisions in the FenFab intake to reroute the BOV discharge back to the intake. Are you in Middletown, OH?

Do you remove tune when going to the Dealer for Recalls or service?

This. Your dealer will be able to tell if your ST has been flashed. Best to be up front about it. There is no black/white answer on if a tune will void any part, or all of, your warranty. This depends not only on the dealership but also which service advisor you are working with. Also know...

    Wastegate Rattle??

    Wastegate Rattle??

flex sections. The only remedy is to replace them with aftermarket ones, regardless of what the dealer tells you. Lethal Performance has new midpipes, or you can go full Thermal exhaust.

    De-cat tuning

Thermal R&D is one step ahead of you. FenFab and SPD both have replacement high-flow cats as well. The FenFab parts are an absolute work of art.

    Exhaust advice

Thermal because you will want to replace the OEM flex sections. Talk to Tyler at Lethal Performance. Thermal is a true cat-back and stainless steel construction. It sounds great, especially with FenFab downpipes!

Limits of stock turbos HP wise

Whipple IC and ZFG e50 tune alone has put a few ST owners in the 11s. I have run multiple 0-60 at 3.7s and 1/4mi passes at 11.8 @118mph with IC, ZFG e50, and FenFab intake/downpipes. the biggest limitation is the fuel system (injectors and HPFP). Once you do that you would want to consider...

Steeda Vid: 0-60 mph test, Stock vs. Whipple Stage 1 Kit

I'm all for gains and proving modifications work, as shown in the video here. However, IC and ZFG tune will get you in the low 4sec range all day long, with proven reliability and MUCH improved shifting. For someone that wants to "flash and forget" this may be a good option, depending on how...

High flow cats Vs cattless downpipes

The EPA has cracked down HARD on tuners over the past few years, mainly because of emission issues. Adam stopped selling his tunes for months so he could get EPA approval for his tunes, and I don't imagine that was a free process for him.

    New aFe strut tower brace

The OEM bar is nothing more than a shelf to sit your tools and/or favorite beverage on. I took mine off about 10k miles ago when doing an oil change and never put it back on. This thing looks STOUT!

93 Octane Gas and Top Tier

I'm running e30 on my ZFG 93 tune, and it works perfectly. Many others do it and Adam approves of it. This is convenient for me because when I'm in town I just mix to get e30, but if I need to travel somewhere I don't have "e85 pump anxiety" and can fill with straight 93 if needed and not...

High flow cats Vs cattless downpipes

THIS +100000000. Not worth it to run catless. The noxious smell and terrible riceburner sound aren't worth the minimal gains, aside from the environmental issues.
