    Street Pack Brakes Upgrade

Nothing special needed to bleed the brakes. Can use the two man method or a cheap HF vacuum bleeder. Just don’t let the reservoir run dry. You can’t bleed inside the abs valves without a scan tool to open the valves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Accessory (Serpentine) belt removal and replacement

Nice. I always replace the tensioner and pulleys when doing the belt. Parts don’t last like they used to and on new cars the belt is packed in tight resulting in cuts in your hands[emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Snapped down pipe

Agree with your assessment. Awful clean break.Too cold on that side and he just puddled some metal against it. I’m no welding pro but I did inspect my SPDs before I installed them and to my eyes they looked like quality welds. Fingers crossed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Rotors

Not many rotors these days worth turning. Minimum mass for fuel economy so they keep them thin. Last set I could cut was 3500hd business truck 20 plus years ago[emoji23] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    QuickJack Deals

Good guess, makes sense. I use the quickjack blocks for just that reason. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    K&N Oil Filter

Plenty of bad oil filters out there. Anything Fram that is middle of their lineup and up are good to very good imo. I know there was a big problem with their glued cardboard encaps on their low end models. They would blow and go full bypass for zero filtering. Not worth risking that. Having...

    Rotors

Yeah 15k is low but depends on a lot. My wife can’t get over 25k while I go over 50k[emoji23] Blueing is a sign you are working them hard and getting them good and hot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    QuickJack Deals

Yeah not sure what you mean by near misses. I use these. Just hang them off the pinch weld and lift. https://a.co/d/2KqoAw9 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Best Downpipes out there?

I would stay away from any requiring defaulters as mentioned. You can also have them ceramic coated if you want to improve heat. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    K&N Oil Filter

Drop in canister style are all similar imo. Spin on filters really boil down to design and quality. From the bottom barrel Fram with the glued cardboard end cap to a high end Wix it’s really about insurance. If a spin on fails or gets stuck in bypass mode you are just recycling dirty oil through...

    K&N Oil Filter

I agree with that. Wouldn’t run their air filters (AFE here) but I would have no problem running their oil filters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good filters. I believe they are made by Champion. Love the nut for easy removal especially the older I get[emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Snapped down pipe

My SPD,s were solid. Had them ceramic coated for heat but they were rock solid before I connected the midpipes. The exhaust seemed to go back on easy with good alignment and no stress points. Will keep an eye in them now. Regarding the op, I agree that if the rest of the cat doesn’t simply push...

    Good clean humor and jokes

Unfortunately at some point it is inevitable. I’ll be like the guys in those movies where there are very few ice vehicles left. Think original mad max or iRobot. Have something stashed in my barn for the right moment[emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
