Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Look jefferylay, some inconsiderate @sshat just thumbed down my saying you should get your case expedited. Seriously, someone has to be a truly obnoxious twit to hope that someone else waits longer for their parts.

More boring than annoying. Facts and statistics literally mean nothing to them, just knee jerk emotional reactions. And look ... it seems two of them are still pining for attention.

Welcome to the Explorer ST Forum, please post an introduction

I told someone the other day that my favorite color was blue. So they asked "Why didn't you get a blue ST?" I said "Because there weren't any for sale in my area when I got them!" Lol

No, there's a few uneducated trolls on this forum that I've had to set straight and then block. They know I'll never see any of their comments, so they use the "thumbs down" like insolent children who are crying out to mommy for attention! hahaha

    Ford Performance Tune

This is getting nuts ... When I bought a factory Stage 2 GMPP (Generals Motors Performance Pack) tune for a Chevy I had, I just took the box of parts I received, went to a Chevy dealer and they said "okay" and called me when it was ready. No looks of "what is this" or "we never heard of this...

Thanks for the (y) Rocket! Your comments are both funny and informative. Wish I could say the same for others here, but sadly, I can't! Lol

Without launch control, all we can do stock is hold the brake hard and put the accelerator pedal to the floor. My best times were with brake boosting, Sport Mode, Stability Control OFF, and 1/4 tank of fuel with the 40 lbs of extra tools/equipment I usually carry taken out. With my first '22...

Pull the seats out of that thing, run it on empty, do whatever you have to do. Beat my time! (but stay safe of course(y))

    Ford Performance Tune

Published Hp/Torque numbers from automotive manufacturers are measured on an engine dyno, not a chassis dyno. So tire size has no effect on those numbers.

    Ford Performance Tune

Yeah, that always ends up well. Lol The FP tune for the ST makes 430 hp / 467 lb ft, while the Raptor "tune" makes 418 hp / 440 lb ft. Not the same animal.

    Ford Performance Tune

I've had warranty work done with no issues. Not sure where you're getting your info from, but they sound like Chicken Little screaming "The sky is falling!" What too many people don't understand is that a voided warranty is a voided warranty. With OEM parts/tunes they'll take care of it no...

Welcome to the Explorer ST Forum, please post an introduction

The SHO is 4,350 lbs and the ST 4,850 lbs, so all things being equal I'd say the ST gets the win! And I'm not biased, my bone stock SHO ran the same 13.7 as my bone stock ST.

Sorry no one has responded to you yet. For me, I have no problem with FP's dyno numbers. What I meant by "testing" was using a Dragy or going to the drag strip. Because additional hp/torque alone will not give the whole story on acceleration improvements, it's also about where that hp/torque...

Oh no! Well, the extra weight I meant was the kind I could have removed in 5 or 10 minutes. The other kind, not that easy to get rid of ...

How many miles did your Explorer ST have when you bought it?

My first '22 ST had 10 miles, my 2nd '22 ST had 6 miles.

Of course! Even though it was 47 deg out, all heating options were OFF. And I beat C&D's time by 1/10 and R&T's by 2/10 while still carrying extra weight in the vehicle. A solid 13.6 was definitely there. Yet there are still wee 'lil trolls who clearly possess no working knowledge of anything...

    Ford Performance Tune

While I disagree with your untested "marginal performance improvement" remark, there's several uneducated trolls on these forums that you'll have to deal with. Just put them on your ignore list like I did and their rants will be muted forever!(y) Regarding the FP tune, its most...
