Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Interesting. So that would add fuel to the ongoing debate of "the 4 bolt is less problematic than the 2 bolt" controversy, making it somewhat moot.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I do not see FORD's outsourcing of 4,000 rear axle covers as meaning they have encountered any more than the 235 breaks they originally reported. Just that because of those breaks, they will eventually replace as many of those covers as possible (with 4,000 being the starting point). Put...

(Delivery update) Made the Domestic Switch To a 2022 Explorer St - Forged Green Metallic

I just picked up the All Weather mats from my dealer, they had them in stock for $200. Nice fit too.

    Ford Performance Tune

I haven't decided to get the FP tune yet, but when I do I'll keep them in mind.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Seems these days people would have a better chance of getting spare parts for the Hubble Space Telescope than a FORD part ...

    ST Drivers...Male vs Female

You get one step closer to "sheer performance" with FORD's new tune.;)

    ST Drivers...Male vs Female

I'm older than you and have owned several dozen vehicles, the ST is my first SUV/Truck. Until now, it's been Mustangs, Camaros, and sports sedans.

    Good clean humor and jokes

Actually, just put them on your block list like I do and stop bothering the mods already! ;)

    Ford Performance Tune

    Nope, don't have one.

    Ford Performance Tune

It'd be nice if people in FORD's service dept knew a little bit more about FORD Performance.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

This is insane, it's like we're living in a 3rd world country. Oh wait, for two years now we have been. Hope you get your parts ASAP.

The Musings of an Old Fart

Weren't the 2020-2021's the ones with all the problems? haha

    Ford Performance Tune

Agreed. Except the reaction I got was from a Service Advisor, not someone in Sales. Lol

    ST Drivers...Male vs Female

Saw an ST the other day, a woman was driving it. Not sure what conclusion I can make from that one sighting though ...

    Ford Performance Tune

I get what you're saying, but the service department I spoke is located at a dealer that sells every high performance variant that FORD sells. That's what surprised me so much, still doesn't make any sense ...

    Ford Performance Tune

Okay, now we're talking. Everything makes sense. I asked about it at my dealer and they looked puzzled as if they never heard of Ford Performance before (and they're not a small dealer). Not too confidence inspiring ...

Dragy 10Hz, RaceBox 10Hz or RaceBox Mini 25Hz?

I went with the Dragy because it's half the price of the standalone Racebox. The guy from Redline Reviews started using it on his reviews a while back, pretty cool: https://www.youtube.com/c/theredline/featured

Love my 2022 ST but why are so many publication reviews trashing the Explorer?

C&D just released sales info on the top cars/trucks so far this year: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/g39628015/best-selling-cars-2022/ The Explorer ranks #14 at 156,243 units sold, while the Jeep Grand Cherokee comes in at #8 with 172,545 units sold. But the Explorer only took a 3% drop...
