    2025 Ford Explorer Prices Paid

The MSRP on mine was 62,235. All I added was the keypad on the door and wheel locks and the rugged 2 row floor mats. Which I was disappointed with. They are thin and flimsy. Put my old 2020,s bought off eBay and have more structure to them. So now the 2 rows of Matt's are in garage.

    2025 ST Deliveries?

I ordered on 4/15 and just picked up 8/14. I traded in my 2020 st. The new one just seems more compact even though the lengths are the same. No more vertical display. Thank God. Can not wait for the ford tune to be out.

    2025 ST

Just picked mine up today. Very nice but it seems they build them with cheaper materials than my 2020.

Received private off just by calling Ford.

My 2025 ST is in production. The dealer was not giving me the VIN number. So i called Ford marketing. They gave me the VIN and website where i can track it. Then the agent put me on hold and said we have a private offer for you. I wrote down the number. Then the dealer just told me i get...

    Ford Performance Tune

I have a 2020 st. Love the FP tune. Just ordered a 2025 st and found out the ECU is locked by ford. Hopefully won't have to wait years for something to be offered.

    Replacing Brakes

i did my front brake pads and rotors yesterday. i thought you only had to put it in service mode for the rears. When u was done. i started the ST to check brake pedal. I now have: Advance trac warning, uphill assist warning, pre-collision warning, parking brake system warning, and a couple...

    Oil filter housing stem disintegrated

The truck only has 21k miles on it. I bought it when it has 11k miles. Who knows who did what prior to me purchasing it. I have personally done 3. Changed it over to full synthetic when I first bought it. Then additional 2. One for each year of ownership since not that many miles are driven. I...

Extended Warranty - Yes or No

To me it was a no brainer. With all the electronics etc. I was offered one for less than 1300 bucks through Ziegler and it's a Ford gold esp plan. 100 dollar deductible. Gets me a loaner car plus roadside assistance with it. My piece of mind. That if something breaks. Such as moon roof or any...

    Oil filter housing stem disintegrated

My 2020 ST, threw a P0524 code. Checked oil pressure sensor for leaks. It was not that. However the sensor did not have any Teflon on the threads. So while I had it out. I put some on and re-installed. Next I checked the oil filter. Only to find out that the middle stem that goes through the...

2020 ST P0524 code Low oil pressure

Answering my own question. Oil pressure sensor is under the oil filter housing. Have to take the air cleaner off. Then it can be taken off with a 24mm wrench.

2020 ST P0524 code Low oil pressure

My ST only has 20k miles and I just got the P0524 code. Low oil pressure. Thankful that I bought the cheap extended warranty as my 3 year warranty is up by 3 months. Does anyone know where the oil pressure sensor is on this engine is located? Or perhaps it's worth taking to the dealer to have...

I've got a Check Engine Light

The P0496 just popped up in my ST and it only has 19,700 miles on it. Good thing is, my three years is up this June. Considering the location. Maybe it is easier to drop it off and let them do it. However, I may attempt it. I hate leaving my baby at the dealership. The last time she was there...

    BLUE SCREEN.

The dealer just had my 2020 explorer ST for 3 days. Issue: Reverse brake assist not available and blue screen when putting it in reverse. Go to pick it up. They said it is all done and they replaced the IPMB. I put it in reverse to get out of the parking spot and sure enough. Blue screen and...

    Ford Performance Tune

I understand about them making a profit. I was just speaking about the ProCal4. I usually trade in every 3 to 5 years. So if i get a 2024 or 2025, only to buy another ProCal4 unit. Mine just started with the camera blue screen and reverse assist braking unavailable. As soon as i get it in and...

    Ford Performance Tune

Thanks! Doesn't make sense to me. That is like buying a laptop to use forscan. Then the laptop is no good if you buy a newer Ford. I already use 91 octane daily. my ST has 17k miles on it. It only has had 2 tanks full of 87 octane and when i put in the 91 octane. It is like a different car in a...

    Ford Performance Tune

Considering it comes with the warranty. It would be worth it to me. If they just sold the tune separately in future years. Since the tool alone is valued at $495. That way when I sell my 2020 and get a newer model year. I could purchase just the tune for the new model year and use the tool from...

ALL YOU CATCH CAN GUYS; How much oil?

I just emptied mine on my 2020 Explorer St and there was about an ounce of congealed oil. Looked like thick pudding. Is this normal? After I took the can out and let it sit a while. It melted into regular oil. This was after 3,000 miles. I set a reminder to make sure to check it. since this is...
