Has anyone been able to download a 2025 Ford Explorer order guide?

I haven't see the official specs or a 2025 order guide to determine whether the brake packages are now standard features of the ST... or whether those brake options have been dropped completely.

25 MY was just unveiled and the build configurator is up on Ford's website. I wouldn't even bother ordering a 2024.

There are not many good reasons to do so. From what I understand 2024 will be a short model year and the 2025s should be introduced soon.

I think that's @DaveG ST 's point. If they are the same overall diameter, then the sidewall is too short/small.

Or just 18 or 20 inch wheels with 265 width tires - they are also less susceptible to wheel damage from curbing.

I've never heard of that tire brand: Ironman?

I find that having your OWN way of moving a disabled vehicle gives you a bit of leverage too. If the customer had a HD pickup with a tilt bed trailer + winch, it's harder to get the customer to agree to the delay when they could easily move to vehicle to another shop.

I'm not sure that is the case. They have significantly taller tire sidewalls from using 255/60/18 tires versus the typical 20" or 21" wheel/tire combos in the ST models.

Strange how much damage resulted from this curb strike... because when you watch police pursuit videos, you see them hopping curbs at similar speeds and still being able to pursue the subject. I would imagine the control arms between ST and PIU models are similar. The difference has to be in...

I was curious about when they finally moved to the 4 bolt subframe. I think we can assume all 2024 models and the 2025 model will incorporate this update subframe.

What size tires/wheels do you have? I'm curious if someone ran a 20" wheel/tire or a 18" wheel/tire wouldn't feel as much harshness with the PIU as they would with either 21" or 22" wheels.

It's unacceptable. Won't be purchasing an Explorer until they do a re-fresh.

Does anyone know the 'correct' part numbers for matching PIU springs? There seem to be a lot of spring variations...
