yea $700 hundred seems way to high for 3-4hrs max of labor.... I'd get a some more quotes if possible. Most of the shops in my area were quoting me $400-$450 max.

What was your reaction the first time behind the wheel of a Explorer ST?

Not my first initial thought but def something I said to myself during the test drive:  "The stock exhaust actually sounds pretty good, oh wait that's just fake noise being pumped into the audio system" :(

    Borla Exhaust Upgrade

As many have mentioned before me the Borla exhaust systems for this vehicle is a direct bolt on... Installation from any skilled mechanic or exhaust shop should be around $100-$150 max..... minimal when you are shelling out the kind of money Borla exhausts cost.... As for doing the installation...

The BOV is located under the air intake box.... you can actually see the existing one without removing it if you look under it from the left corner.

    turbosmart ontario, ca

It's just the right amount of noise in my opinion... It's not overwhelming to the point where it'll scare random pedestrians walking on the sidewalk, but it can definitely be heard. I'm a fan and the installation isn't that difficult... Just make sure you're using a deep wall socket set and it...

Rebadge, Debadge or Leave it Stock , what is your preference?

Removing all the top and side screws (L/R fenders & torque) gives you enough space/wiggle room to change out the front emblem without having to fully remove the front bumper. You just need two helpers to hold/support the left & right sides while you work on swapping out the emblem. This method...

    Cold air intake

I've been waiting in the same line for a CAI for awhile now.... Although the gains on a new one won't be much to brag about the sound itself should be appealing (at least enough for me to invest in one).

Best tune for 2020 Ford Explorer ST

For everyone interested in a Tune the only advice I'll give is "due your own research on each company providing them". There's several options out there all with their own pro's and con's. The more research & information you can obtain from each of them the better off you'll feel investing in...

    Light bar

This video should help (linked below). Pick it up 2.12mins in and it'll show you how to access the fire wall. This company also provides a lot of really good plug and play lighting products. My construction company has been using them for years w/ zero complaints. The staff is really...
