HaHaHa. You paid for a 400HP suv, if you are running 87…you aren’t getting 400HP. Period. That is just simply a fact. The rated power/MPG is rated based on a Testing standard. That standard uses a 92 Octane fuel(notice I did not say Gas, because it isn’t). So in reality if you are running 93...

Is this better, I quoted the whole thing? I also corrected my post above…”Yep, I have no clue…”. Just in case it doesn’t come through in the typed word…that was sarcasm. All of the above is diarrhea of the keyboard. Let’s summarize for the class… Boost on a EcoBoost means ZERO in the logic...

You have been given these answers, but you chose not to listen or did not understand(don’t mean that as a put down). No modern EcoBoost uses a boost strategy. They use Torque management based tuning. Comparing boost across them is pointless, because so many things like temp, altitude, and fuel...

I have asked what he is looking to glean from looking at the logs, and have gotten no response to that question. I also posted 100% accurate info above. He could legitimately be wasting his time. If his ST was just built, it has no BOV. Looking at a stock file or logs from one with is partially...

You do realize that another Stock tune might not even be close to yours? There have been many mid model changes to strategy, modules, and even physical hardware(like the recent factory BOV removal). You are most likely wasting your time. Stock log is useless from a vehicle that is not yours...

Bottom line. It will work on 87, because it detunes for the lower Octane. Want the best performance and MPG use 93. Entertained by those that bought a 60K vehicle but a difference of $10 a week in their fill-up is a deal breaker…drink 1 less Starbucks people. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Stock file are you looking for? Logs, or the actual tune? Again, what are you looking for from the log? You can log your own stock ST when it gets to you. Still wondering what you are trying to accomplish. It is just a weird request. I have probably more log files on an ST than pretty...

Those of us that have done logging understand what logs are. Why do you want them though? If you are going with ZFG it is all part of the process. If you already have your RTD or MPVI2 you can log now, and even before tuning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

OK, Went with ZFG Adam Tune…

Adam will walk you through it and several instruction sets out there. You can actually do most of it using the TDN app on your phone now. A Windows laptop is better though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Richmond. Wouldn’t use them for tuning on the ST, excellent shop, and amazing facility. They actually tuned another ST themselves right after mine, and it was down a lot from my ZFG tunes. They were upset. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Power is the same technically across all modes. How aggressive the throttle is, shift strategies, and other things are obviously different across the modes. Most of his tweaks are in Normal and Sport. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Broken lumbar bucket!!!

Let’s be clear, there is NO way ford is buying a ST back over a seat! Not in this short a time. They are buying it back because they don’t want to hear from you anymore! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

OK, Went with ZFG Adam Tune…

If you have been around it is well known this has been done across multiple platforms, not just the ST. There have been cases of other tuners masquerading as a customer to get their competitors tune to see what they were doing differently. The MPVI series, whether the original, the MPVI2, or the...

OK, Went with ZFG Adam Tune…

There most definitely can be. All tuners using HPTuners software can lock the file. It is in no way foolproof, but offers a level of security to the Tuner to protect their intellectual property. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
