    Fuel octane?

Higher Octane does not change Carbon buildup, quality of the fuel, and a Catch Can will make a difference though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

HaHa. Even at altitude, increased Octane has advantages. Implying different is just bad science. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

[emoji23][emoji2957] You are not wrong! Like I have mentioned before. Mine had the bad 7-6 downshift from pretty much day one. My ZFG tune made it better for 3000 miles, then it started showing up tuned. Ford replaced some things and now good to go. I know ZFG worked at it hard to get the...

Data logging on the RTD is built in. Like you hook up the RTD to the laptop, open Scanner, pick the pids. On their side, there is nothing different. They open the log in scanner and look for what you are having issue with. Easy as that. Your example is why I say stay away from 5Star. I have...

PBD or ZFG for E85. Honestly I would stay away from 5Star. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not necessarily. ZFG does an E85 tune for the Stock pump. It is slower than E50, but slightly quicker than 93 0-60, and good for a 10th in the 1/4. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Oil catch cans

Nope! The 3.0 is only direct and a catch can is highly recommended. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dude, it is like night and day difference. When it comes to logging they aren’t even in the same discussion. It’s like a Tonka Dump Truck and a real one. HPTuners devices take it to a whole different level. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Because the UCal is the exact same piece of hardware as the MyCal from LMS. I own one. Have logged on it on my Expedition just to see what it could do. I also own a MPVI2(Same logging capabilities as the RTD), and I have been logging with it for over 2 years now. Have you logged with both? I...

Get the RTD. The UCal can only be used with PBD. The RTD can be used with other tuners like ZFG. Only downside to the RTD, is you need a Windows laptop to use with it. RTD also has FAR superior logging in comparison to the UCal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Aftermarket Tune Rankings and issues you may have had.

    1) ZFG 2) PBD Distant 3) LMS FAR Distant 4) 5Star 5 Star seems to be hit and miss. Some are happy, some lose there Trans within a very few miles. I have run ZFG since day one and very happy. I have post Dyno and entries in here, and many Dragy’s. The other main tune thread has a bunch of info...

HaHaHaHa! Yep, full disclosure I have had a transmission issue. As have many others. Go talk to a service writer at a large dealer. The Trans issues from the factory is even happening on XLT’s and limited’s with far less power. My Trans had issues from day 1, 14 miles on the odometer. My tune...

[emoji23][emoji2957][emoji23][emoji2957] 3 years from now, your tune only skills on the ST still won’t be quicker than Adam’s tunes. Keep hoping. Some of the best in the business are behind him on this platform, and I promise you they all know more than you! “the most risk”, now you are...

Most shops do not give the actual files of the run, but PDF’s of the graphs and the numbers. 0 vs 5 on the smoothing makes Very little difference on the numbers. Here is the Smoothing set to 5. Regardless peak number is pointless, it is gains over stock and seeing the flatness of the Torque...

I am completely Stock other than ZFG tuning. 3 sets of numbers in those Dyno graphs are Stock(93 E10), ZFG(93 E10), and ZFG(E50). Best 0-60 on 93 is 4.01, but don’t have that screenshot. So here is my 4.06. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
