    pelotonracer2's build

Looks nice, I like the contrast Unfortunately the Ferrada center caps can only be removed by removing the wheels from the vehicle and tapping the center cap out (gently) with a rubber mallet from the backside. I wish I could get them out while still bolted to the car but it's not going to...

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

I have used both Steeda and H&R lowering springs on my 2021 Explorer ST. I am currently on the H&R springs. I also have the Steeda rear sway bar installed and was used with both spring sets. I put about 8,000 miles on the Steeda combo. I have around 800 miles on the H&Rs now. While the Steeda...

H&R lowering springs, silver Ferrada center caps. Not sure what I like better, black or the anodized. I think I will probably like the darker gray center caps better, but it's completely just aesthetics. I do like the contrast, which is similar to my Fiesta ST pictured below. I'm going to post...

Issues with Palm Beach Dyno HP Tuner RTD

Good, I had zero problems once I got the HP Tuner software to work. They never asked me to do datalogs and send log files to them.

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

It disappears also when you upload a new map or switch between 93 and E50 for instance.

VCM Scanner for ZFG data logging

I got my baseline tune from Adam @ ZFG but I can't seem to figure out what to do with the VCM scanner xml file he sent me. Is there somewhere with detailed instructions on how to use VCM scanner? I downloaded the file but when I click on it, I can't seem to open it. I'm used to the ease of...

    pelotonracer2's build

Here's a cold start video for the custom exhaust system from Kinney's Muffler shop in North Richland Hills, Texas. The best part of this is that they will add anything you want to get the sound perfect for YOUR liking and literally have a hundred different tip otions (including polished, matte...

Some cheap ebay faux carbon parts. Just an FYI, many of the faux carbon parts sold on Ebay for a 20-21 Ford Explorer ST did not fit. Luckily they are super cheap. These are the ones that fit. lol

Sport Mode and adding horse power

The revs hang in sport mode even with the tunes, but this is the result of heavy throttle use, not cruising. However you can override this with an upshift with the paddle. I would prefer a down shift going up hills anyways as most of the high pressure direct injection "ecoboosts" are sensitive...

Sport Mode and adding horse power

Only around town... because I can't keep my foot off the gas pedal! :p The throttle response is addictive... even if to drive partial throttle and manually upshift fast, like riding a motorcycle. LOL :ROFLMAO: On the highway I see very little difference between the driving modes.

Sport Mode and adding horse power

I'm currently on a 93/E50 tune from Palm Beach Dyno (and also currently working with ZFG). Sport mode makes my Explorer ST *MUCH* more responsive. I see a HUGE dip in throttle response in eco mode, so much so that it feels like I'm hitting the brakes. Around town I like being in Sport mode...

    Let’s see that *** backside

Ferrada CM2's in 22x11 (offset unknown, but according to them they are model specific) 285/40-22 tires

305/40-22 will rub. You might have to go with a +35 offset. I currently run a 22x11 wheel with 285/40-22 tires with no rubbing, but the sidewalls are slightly stretched (rounded) which I actually love. I don't know the offset of the wheels though.

None. This is the best set up for a stock or lowered Explorer ST. Many people in this forum have used these exact specs for custom wheels.

No they won't fit on my scale. I have a bad back and can't lift them and stand on the scale to weigh them.
