    Alert Tone Changed?

It only does it right after an update. It will go back to normal after a few key cycles

Steeda tower brace and sway bar. Need advice.

to answer your question though, no. there is no pressure on the bar with the car on the ground or on ramps.

    3.0 dimensions

you find a totaled ST on Copart or something? Why a 3.0L EB for a sand rail? Seems like an odd selection... Just put an LS in and call it a day.

    New hpfp and injector option!

That's interesting. The claims of 654hp out of the new Ferrari 3.0L V6 and 700hp out of the new Aston 3.0L V6 seem not real-life numbers then? Or do you think those mnfgs are doing some other trickery to get those figures?

    New hpfp and injector option!

hence my question. on 93, is it the fuel system or the turbos that are creating the performance plateau (or the clutches in the trans or engine oil starvation)? when someone has done everything else and wants to delve into turbo upgrades, can the stock fuel system adequately supply the CR Stage...

    New hpfp and injector option!

Hey @ZFGracing -- whats the theoretical limit for the stock fuel system and how would you get there on 93? finding corn around me is next to impossible. If I've done everything but turbos, are those the next in line limiting factor or should the fuel system be addressed first and then bigger...

Who Has Downpipes + Thermal Exhaust ??

I didn't but then they threw a code after about 150 miles. So now I do. I used the smallest orifice.

For those thinking about a "performance" exhaust system

Does this assume no cats? Or in other words "all else being equal, flow of everything from the cats back". Doesn't the presence of a catalytic converter change the flow dynamics? I would think that replacing the stock system with SPD or FenFab high flow cats would do more in terms of exhaust...

    Steeda Sway Bar Limits

correct. the hole closest to the bar is the stiffest setting. i frankly don't even know why the other two exist, especially since the end of the bar is pretty dang close to the springs if you have H&Rs

    Steeda Sway Bar Limits

when i first installed mine, i tried the middle setting and didn't notice much of a difference so went to stiffest setting, was able to get it to oversteer pretty nicely after it was tuned, not enough power before, (but only with traction control and advance trac both off) but thought maybe it...

FS SOLD SOLD SOLD 2020 Explorer ST Factory 20" Wheels and Tires

Considering the 21” sets with brand new tires were getting $1500-$2000, you might need to adjust your target price a bit @patricklb1

    MPG/Mechanical Issues after Modifications

welcome to the forum! likewise. both very safe mods. if anything you may get a very slight perhaps theoretical only increase in mpg due to the vehicle being lower to the ground.

FenFab vs AFe cold air intake

FenFab customer here (Gen 1 Intake). While Brett's instructions leave a fair amount to be desired, the quality of the product is top notch and his customer service is also fantastic. If you are mechanically inclined you will eventually figure it out but the instructions are for sure confusing at...

    ST vs Aviator

And more “technology”. If THATs what’s getting on your nerves about this vehicle, moving to an Aviator is moving in the wrong direction. Plus it’s lots heavier and therefore noticeably slower even though it’s got the same 400hp tune on the 3.0EB

    SCT X4 Tuning!

try and find a reputable race shop in your area. look for places that do aftermarket work on GT-Rs, Subarus, BMWs, or anything with a big tuner community behind it. More and more people are using HPTuners. HPTuners can even recommend shops. the process for installing a tune is pretty much the...

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

i installed 3 band clamps on each one. didn't do a focking thing. Ford's supposed service bulletin fix is pointless.

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

i literally just cut squares out of a 1/2" thick sheet of rubber i had lying around and drilled holes in them.

    Whipple intercooler

i actually think "whipple" being stenciled on the intercooler was for promotional images only. i have not seen a single one in the wild that has that. mine certainly does not.

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

good news, the vibration shouldn't actually break any welds and break apart the flex joints. the bad news, the vibration from the flex couplings will be so bad that when decelerating/coasting to a stop, you will feel the whole truck vibrate and shudder as it goes through the resonant frequency...

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

lol. so basically don't do what i did. i spent more money than a custom hand-fabricated system would have run you but it was due to a series of events rather than any planning. i bought my ST in April of 2020. at that time the only aftermarket system available was Borla. i knew that sticking...
