From GM to BMW and now a brand new Explorer ST

My tuner is Brett at Boostkingtuning.com. I have a nice mild daily tune from him that we leave in for the wife. It's around 40/40 whp/wtq. It's enough to notice a nice difference and his shifting is nice in all modes, no surprises. It's just on 91 right now. We are currently working on a 94 tune...

    Whipple intercooler

This has probably already been covered, but this is certainly not a issue with Whoosh. I ordered a intercooler for our ST through a different vendor and the exact same thing happened. Hope we get them soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Post your favorite pic...it’s a show off thread.

Not really clean, but it was looking good as I was walking out of the store. I had to take a pic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do you dry your washed car?

Right now, I use my Milwaukee leaf blower. I’m hoping to get one of these when a decent sale comes up. https://www.autogeek.net/mema.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What to do with the slot in front of the cup holders?

It’s the spot I mainly use for my iPhone, since I am a CarPlay guy. It works pretty well with the dip allowing the plug in somewhere to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New Item: SPD cooler temp thermostat kits

I agree that often people try to apply old methods to new platforms. Heck, with the SHO’s and F150’s folks were trying to say that a 160* stat would even be better, lol. Having said that, with the way these are calibrated, there isn’t really any risk around them “being too cold” by dropping...

New Item: SPD cooler temp thermostat kits

I don’t know if it plays with the 3.0, however in playing with my Gen1 3.5 I found the 170 yielded no 1/4 time or Dyno results at a 500whp mark. It was actually a detriment in winters up here and I ended up settling on 180 degree motocraft thermostat. Stock was 195 on my truck. It was mainly for...

From GM to BMW and now a brand new Explorer ST

The Wife decided to go for our ST from a 2016 X5. Overall happier with the ST. I’ve seen a few making a similar switch to either the Explorer or Aviator Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best tune for 2020 Ford Explorer ST

Does anyone have a channel.xls file I could get a copy of? I want to do some logging and can’t seem to get much for channels to work on my ‘21. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    How to clean/treat dashboard?

Meguiar’s Hyper Dressing mixed at 4:1 is one of my favourites. Not much gloss and super easy to maintain. Also works really well to shine up the wheel wells (hard plastic, not felt liners). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I went with a BlackVue DR-590X. I have had a BlackVue in my truck for 6 years without a failure, so I figured I would stick with the brand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Steeda vs. H&R Springs

I went with the Steeda springs. I preferred the look of them and keeping a touch of rake for when it’s loaded up so it won’t drag tail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Dash cam install started. Will be wrapped up once I get the right add-a-fuse for micro fuses. Also got in the Redarc trailer brake controller. Super easy install. Rounded out the efforts with a oil change. Mobil 1 extended performance and UPR plug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can't get a tune in CA

I think Adam is working on the process to get a EO# and therefore be CARB compliant for his tunes. The industry is heading more in this type of direction Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
