Did a USB install on Build 23188. So far, so good but hadn't really gone through the paces yet. Hmmm ... I wonder if the free update is still out there. Beats the going price!

    ZFG Launch Strategy

Interesting and will have to try this! Are you getting your trans temp readings from a standalone gauge or reading the dash display? I know there's a trans temp gauge that comes up in the Tow mode but hadn't seen one in Sport mode.

Thanks again! Do you think it's worth it to spend $109 to update navigation maps? There's been a couple occasions where Sync didn't recognize addresses that I searched for.

Do they have some discreet version or has there been problems using the Sync update feature? Which Ford site?

Thanks hbalek! I'm set for automatic updates. So, it won't update to 23188 unless you ask it to?

Hi All, Just a quick question: Why is it that when I turn my sound system off, the next time I start the vehicle up, the radio's blasting? In the first place, I rarely listen to the radio and almost always have a music compilation USB flash drive jamming the songs I like. Up until recently, the...

    Lethal Performance Mid Pipes Installation

Wish I had a lift, I would have saved some $$. The tech that did mine told me that the rear connection comes up a bit short but the rest fitted ok. Didn't need to expand the pipe. I'm connecting to a stock cat back so maybe that's the difference. He also advised purchasing new clamps with your...

    Lethal Performance Mid Pipes Installation

I did see a couple tutorials on the DP installs. In both cases, they had to lower the front subframe and the transmission mount brace to create ample space to get the driver's side DP bolts. The passenger side is a little more spacious.

Installed Lethal Performance Mid Pipes. The OEM flexs were shot and loud. What a relief to finally fix!

    Lethal Performance Mid Pipes Installation

Well, I finally got these installed. I went to Tony's Custom Exhaust in Glen Burnie. It's a shop I used to take my Supra to years ago. He got me in as soon as I arrived. His tech had the OEM pipes off in 7 minutes and had the Lethal pipes installed, start to finish in 25 minutes! He even found...

    Lethal Performance Mid Pipes Installation

Thanks for the response! The place I plan on taking it to tomorrow should have all the pertinent resources for a successful installation. If it was a little difficult for you, it should be a lot smoother for a custom exhaust shop. If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you from start...

    Lethal Performance Mid Pipes Installation

They finally arrived but having a hard time getting a shop to install them. A muffler shop actually told me it was a p-i-t-a to do and involved heating the pipes to remove the old ones and said to return the Lethals and he would fashion in his own flex joints, keeping the original pipes and...

    Rear exhaust hanger, Doohickey

This info has helped immensely! Conversely, the number ending in "L" is the "right" one. When I ordered it, I made the mistake of posting the VIN which in turn made the seller change the part number. I tried to explain but they were unresponsive and still wanted to send the wrong part so I...

    Rear exhaust hanger, Doohickey

I'm in the market for these brackets too. What the heck are these made out of, powdered metal? The stock ones are only 3.5 years old and I can literally crumple it with my fingers! How much more could they possibly cost to make out of aluminum? It won't corrode and would last years longer. Yeah...

SLD Stock Turbos - great for rebuild project 500$ shipped lower 48

Hmmm! Just spoke with CRP and they said they allow 3 months to return the cores. ZFG says to ship directly to them.

Agreed! 93 DMS here also. I think the DMS tunes are the way to go. Not only does it give you the most power of the tune choices but it lets you customize what mode profiles you want in your mode selector.

Yes, I'm sure you're aware of most of this. I've seen some of your posts confirming that. And yes, if you're anticipating future upgrades/tune etc, then these other parts may contribute down the road. (so to speak) For instance, I'll be upgrading turbos and down pipes in the future but I'll be...
