    Window Oddity

Good, I'll try that next time in. Thanks Dale5403!

    650 awhp and 650 ft-lbs!

I thought it was because full torque and full HP usually occur at different points along the RPM band. It looks like a good crossover point wherein the torque hands the job right over to the HP. Between the 2 of them, you've got a good linear source of power from 3k to 6.5k.

    Window Oddity

It has occurred a few times that when I put the passenger side window up, it would automatically go back down about half way. Is this an anomaly or a feature?

That CTsv must have launched on a 60 stab though!

Agreed! My brother-in-law has a C5 that has 850 to the wheels. On a cement hwy, it would plain light 'em up going 100mph in a manual 4th gear. Just sick!

I know, right? It was pretty much done and I didn't have the $ to restore at the time. Just about everything I've had since would do circles around it. Not to mention what it's worth would be today though. I like the '68s with the hideaways.

I left my last V8 when I got rid of my '70 GTO. Since then, it was a straight 6 with the Supra and 2 Ford V6s. I feel more of a victory when I blow away a V8 with this 3 liter 6. :)

Again, agreed! I'll have to price coating and weigh the differences.

Sound reasoning. It appears though that the heat shielding gives full coverage. Take a look. https://whoosh-motorsports.myshopify.com/products/whoosh-motorsports-catted-304-stainless-downpipes-2020-explorer-st

Looking at the Whoosh DPs, they claim having pre-installed heat shielding. Do you think similar results?

Agreed! Do the mid pipes have flex in them or does the system do ok without? Edit: Nevermind. answered my own question. :)

I thought about ceramic coating. Was it worth it for you?

Thanks for the hits! I have the stock exhaust system and plan on keeping it. I'm not looking to get louder as I enjoy the quiet ride, especially when listening to music. I understand it getting a little nasty with upper acceleration but in cruise, I like the stock volume. The stock system will...

Thanks for the reply THNX SVT! No CEL or did you have to install defoulers?

Ok, I was going for the CVF DPs, catted, 304SS and mandrel bent. The SPD DPs show pretty much the same specs but incorporate the flex pipes and extensions to the crossover section. The DPs is all I need and the CVFs are priced at $800 cheaper. Although the SPDs claim to subdue the vibration that...

    Turbos

Can't have that! :) MacandCheeseST just bought the CRPs and said they are a bit more superior than the Pures.

    Right? lol

    Ok, thanks for that!

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Nice job! Although I think the current wheels on the GT are pretty sick too! :)
