Cover? I took mine in because of the rear diff clicking when accelerating/decelerating and clicking when switching between drive/reverse while sitting with brake applied. It just started at 23k miles. Dealer applied recall, emergency brake (which I strongly dislike) and 'ordered parts to fix'...

The Aviator has the 10R80 transmission and the correct rear subframe assembly (not impacted by Explorer recall). If I had known that, I would have been swayed towards the Aviator in our decision. Sent from my SM-N981U using Tapatalk

No broken bolt on my 21. But I did call Ford and open a complaint case about the fact that the police interceptors get the correct rear subframe, instead of a lame workaround in the NHTSA recall. Sent from my SM-N981U using Tapatalk
