    Downpipes Upgrade, Worth it?

    Sorry to bring up an old thread but with everything said, now that I'm over 500whp and dyno tuned, let's say my downpipes and exhaust are restricting future gains, if I were to upgrade one or the other, would I need to get retuned or would the car just make more power because it can breathe...

    Stock exhaust and downpipes here, 520whp/540wtq. I wonder if I would make more if I had more flow?

    Are the Pure turbos our only option? I know on my 2.7 I went through turbo revolutions. Wasnt super happy with their craftsmanship. Waste gates both had grind marks on them. So we have another option or is Pure the best bet?

    I appreciate the confidence. Tires were spinning all the way to 60ish. Crappy Detroit roads. Was just getting a little jaded that I dropped a bit of cash on something others could do already without. Our drag strip opens in a couple months. I'll try to be patient!

    So now that I've got an idea of what my times are; I'd say there was 0 reason for me to spend 4 grand on the fuel system. It didn't do anything if the stock fuel system is cranking out the same performance as what I am doing now. Am I missing something??

    Didn't have the room to finish had to brake near the end. 7.69 suggests around 12.0 though. Still to see 12.2 knowing I let off is cool. 3.96 0-60 3.62 with 1'

    Hopefully I'll be able to get a verified 1/4 mile tomorrow, if I am in the 11s I'm quite content with that. If not, perhaps some more power or weight savings. Do we have a spare under our cars? Anyone know the weight if I remove it? I've never even looked lol.

    Wow, I am just waiting for a decent day to bust the draggy out. It's been wet or snowy everyday since I got my car back. E70 should make more than E50 right? I can't imagine this thing is quicker than 11.77. Do you have weight reduction at all?

    Once you get a 93 tune the stock fuel system is maxed out. Now that the stage 1 kit is installed the turbos are maxed out. The stage 1 injectors are nearly maxed on e85, Nostrum told me within the year they will have a stage 2 kit.

    Just checking in, 6 days later.... This thing is fast! But I will say my MPG's are around 10-11mpg now average. I've had to fill up every single day since I picked up the car. Just a word of warning to anyone going this route. E85 is a little cheaper than 93 but I'm using a lot of it.
