Ford does suck. They know about the issue but no bulletin out to dealers? Dealerships don't seem to know about the issue and are charging diagnostic fees, replacing APIMs--great if you are under bumper-to-bumper warranty still but if out of warranty, you are screwed over a thousand dollars...

Never mind the octane. A hard 3-4 shift is not normal. I'd get that checked out.

He means you don't qualify for the 3/36 warranty. Your 3 years have already passed. So go ahead and install it yourself. The odds of a tune-related problem that would negate your extended warranty are extremely small.

I would do an aggressive bed-in procedure for brake pads. In fact, I try to do this periodically to avoid brake judder. It may help in your case where it looks like the pad has uneven wear on the rotor.

It's a MY2020 rite of passage... like the cracked downpipes. The replacement boots are slightly different so rest easy. Also, the entire axle half shaft is about $120 each or so and easy DIY swap, so don't worry about it.

Do you have Forscan? You might want to reset the liftgate module. That happened to me: liftgate would not open from dash button or exterior liftgate. checked fuse. ended up resetting the module and it worked. you may also have some luck unplugging the battery for a few minutes.

To be clear, your hands free liftgate no longer works? If so, check Sync settings to make sure it's active. I was referring to random liftgate opening including when you go to lock the car from the rear passenger doors from the outside.

completely separate issues. chances are you have a 2020? there is a firmware update to the liftgate module that has helped the rear door lock activating the liftgate opening problem.

fitment is definitely not perfect, especially in front. I could not get the downpipe tabs to engage much at all. That said, I don't believe I have any leaks after tightening everything up.
