I do not think showing the gears always is a part of the Forscan capability as of yet. Other Ford platforms have asked in the Forscan community forums and there was no solution. Up until recently, Livernois' tune did not show gear so I was looking at Forscan for a solution but there was none...

FYI, the gear indication and many more changes are doable by anyone using the FORScan software and a cheap ELM327 interface device with their Windows computer. There’s a thread on this forum with the info. Search “FORScan”.

Yeah, either disconnect the battery or using Forscan, reboot the BCM which controls the tail lights.
