    FS P-Gear P610 GPS

Have a p-gear P610. I have an Aim Solo 2 now for my track car and it does all the same functionality and a lot more than the P-gear so I have no use for it. Does all the same functions as the Dragy. I think the Dragy is a 10hz GPS, the P610 is 20hz so "in theory" its a bit more accurate. In...

    SLD HP Tuners MPVI2

Have an MPVI2 that I no longer really have a use for since I am selling the ST. I might have the box still, but doubt it. MPVI2 plus cable as pictured. I might have the thumb drive it came with, but not guaranteeing anything plus thats all old versions software at this point anyway. $250...

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

Just to follow up on this... not that anybody cares. Selling the ST to one of the big car buyers at some point this week for 4k more than what I paid for it in February. Ordering a Super Duty from Granger in Iowa for 2% under invoice. 4-5 months to get it, but maybe quicker, who really knows...

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

Thats one of my hesitations with the F150 is towing fuel mileage. My boat is ~5-5500lbs on the trailer filled with gas. Obviously with a travel trailer you are pulling a large brick through the air, but I have been reading a lot on towing mileage and the 3.5 eco boost F150's seem to really get...

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

I actually find the F250/350's to ride pretty dang good, obviously not likely as good as an F150, but an F350 could almost haul the weight of an F150 in its bed. The ride gets better all the time even though payload keeps going up. I had a 2018 GMC Denali 2500 Duramax and thought it rode...

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

We needed a larger vehicle. We had a Chevy Cruze diesel as our daily driver(and 2 Corvette's and a Harley LOL). We bought the ST and Prius within 2 weeks of each other. I would say we still drive the ST more than the Prius, but thats changing. We looked at quite a few SUV's and the ST was...

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

Ive owned trucks including a 3/4 ton GMC diesel before so I know what I am getting into vs. the ST. My boat weighs like 5k, maybe 5500lbs on the trailer. Some people claim it weighs more, but book numbers put it around 5k dry and maybe up to 5500 wet. I havent weighed it. Either way it...

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

You can get 3.55, 3.73 or 4.30. The 4.30 gets a heavier duty rear end(Dana M245 has larger ring gear, 10.8", larger axle shafts, 4" tubes) vs. Sterling 10.5(3.5" tubes, smaller axle shafts, 10.5" ring gear). From what I can gather average MPG only drops by 1 and everybody recommends the 4.30's...

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

I really have nothing negative to say about the ST overall. Great daily driver. Comfortable, fast with ZFG tune, handles well with Steeda swaybar, looks great, gas mileage is pretty decent, etc... We bought a boat 2 months ago and have to trailer it any time we want to use it. ST pulls it...

    New hpfp and injector option!

Just to clarify, I was not talking about transversely mounted platforms. I was not confusing older platforms(which I have zero experience or knowledge of) with the current platform. I was referring to the PTU as a "power transfer unit"... You reference PTU as "power takeoff unit"... I would...

    New hpfp and injector option!

I was under the impression it had a computer controlled clutch type PTU in it. So whats the limit on the stock transfer case?

    New hpfp and injector option!

So who is building upgraded trans and PTU's to deal with all this HP?

    Labor prices?

I would expect at least 4 hours for the springs(1 hour per corner). Likely 1-2 hours for the exhaust. No clue on the whipple, but guessing at least 4 hours if the shop has done it before. I think I have read of guys on here doing them in their garages in 5-6 hours taking their time. If you...

    Rear end damage

I tow ~5k lb boat/trailer and have a 93 octane ZFG race tune(I dont tow on that tune except 1/4 mile to the lake, flash to stock for longer trips). I dont baby my exploder on the 93 tune. My 21 has a single rear bolt. No issues. And if it breaks ill get it towed to the Ford dealer.

    Axle oil change

Old wives tail...or at least not applicable to modern vehicles. Break in oil in factory fills of anything hasnt been a thing for at least 30 years(probably longer) that I am aware of. Machining tolerances and materials are so good now that traditional break in is "almost" not a thing anymore.

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

You'll know if you have a rough shift. Mine felt fine in "normal" mode, but in "sport" the 2-3 shift was harsh. It also wasnt carrying to redline, like 750rpm early. Adam took care of both. I would say my 2-3 is still a little rough in sport mode, but I dont drive in sport mode very often so...

    Coilovers anyone ?

You didnt read my post correctly and I am sure you didnt go search for his post. Its a pretty long post talking about the pro's and con's of both springs. He's probably one of the only people on this board with extensive experience on both. He has hit the bump stops under normal conditions...
