    Dealership selling buybacks?

Ive owned over 40 cars... What I have learned is "somebody always got a better deal than me"... I just dont care anymore. I only got about 3500 off of my 21 back in February before the current crazyness... I was reading about people getting 5000+ off, but I couldnt make a deal like that...

    HP Tuners Track Addict

I actually ordered a p-gear last night. My buddy has used the track addict app but for road course stuff and he said it works great for that. The 1/4 mile stuff seems lacking.

    HP Tuners Track Addict

Anybody play with this app? Was messing with it tonight, have it connected to the MPVI2 via bluetooth. Setup for 1/4 mile. It starts fine, but never stops recording well past the .25 mile mark. Doesnt display 1/4 mile times, but I saw a few 1/8 mile times(8.3). Wondering if I have it setup...

    Gearhead Tuned ~ 21' ST

Thats surprising to me that on a fairly mass market vehicle Ford would pony up for stainless over aluminized.

    Gearhead Tuned ~ 21' ST

Meh. Millions of cars come from the factory with an aluminized exhaust every year. I mean the factory exhaust is an aluminized exhaust. They seem to hold up well enough. Probably hold up much longer than most of us will own these vehicles.

Any drone with that exhaust? I like the look of it and they are only about an hour and 15 minutes from me.

"lost" 3rd gear while data logging

Adam said it didn't come out of gear or slip. It downshifted to 1st mid pull, then went to 4th I guess when I paddled it. I never saw 1st on the dash. He wants some datalog of a few 0-60 pulls shifting through the gears.

Cruise Control MPH adjustment with FORScan

Yes. Its called traffic something or other. It's a function of the whole system.

"lost" 3rd gear while data logging

Yea I don't know. Doesnt seem to be any worse for the wear. I sent the log file to Adam so maybe he will see something.

"lost" 3rd gear while data logging

It wasn't like it was slipping though. It was almost like the computer released the clutches to protect things. It was like it completely came out of gear if it was a manual. Didn't feel like classic "slipping" to me.

"lost" 3rd gear while data logging

Was out doing data log runs for ZFG tune revisions. Probably did 5 or 6 pulls for ZFG logging I guess(3rd and 4th gear). Trying to time out the lag from pushing start and it actually starting to log...frustrating. Decided to do a few 3rd gear pulls for virtual dyno(cant figure this crazy...

The most unintelligible Ford craigslist post ever....

guess how may teeth the guy has... Im going for between 0 and 1...might have a half in there somewhere... Meth...its a hell of a drug...

Cruise Control MPH adjustment with FORScan

oh so its a Karen issue...got it. Run 20mph... when the cops show up ask them to "prove it". When the cant ask why you are being questioned and they should go tell Karen to STFU...

BEWARE: Driveshaft kaboom from emergency auto-brake

Like I said before, im not trying to minimize in any way blaster9's experience or breakages. Just seems odd that out of almost 500k Explorers manufactured(no clue where the change from 2 to 1 bolts happened) there are only 2 or 3 reports of breakage of this bolt. As enthusiasts we tend to over...

Cruise Control MPH adjustment with FORScan

doubt it/not that I have seen in Forscan. Whats the purpose? more curiosity on my part than anything. If I am in stop and go/bumper to bumper traffic and set mine, it sets at 20mph, but it will drive along in traffic at 5-6mph just fine. Put on the lane centering and you can just kinda...

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

I dont think the rear diff in the ST is exclusive to the ST. The gear ratio is, but I dont think the physical diff housing or frame crossmember is. So how many explorers were built in 2021? There were ~225k made in 2020, guessing 2021 will be less than that due to production constraints. So...

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

Thats your other thread I was referencing. So between that one and this one, I have read not a single other thread on this bolt breaking.

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

So the bushing design changed... I need to see if I have that bushing on mine with the large metal center. That likely is what allows them to go to a single bolt vs. the 2. That design likely has a lot less flex/deflection than the original 2 bushings and the second bushing then was not...

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

No the DIFF is threaded already, not the hole in the frame. The "hole" needs a lot of work to get a bushing into it then bolt it up. Not something for the faint of heart. Do-able, yes... easy...no... A competent fab shop could likely knock it out in a few hours depending on what all needed to...
