The ULTIMATE Dyno / V-Dyno Thread

@DetroitST the trans slipping feels like the clutch slipping in a manual, rpms go up but no wheel spin and not much forward progress. It only happened in sport mode so i can only use normal or eco until the trans breaks in

The ULTIMATE Dyno / V-Dyno Thread

@DetroitST & @Kruppa any slip with the trans? I did similar mods, (AFE CAI, Whipple FMIC, Fen Fab Charge Pipe, Fen Fab catted dp, thermal catback, nostrum hpfp and injectors, E85) and I'm thinking I may have to upgrade the trans (looking at level 10), granted I have low miles and the trans isn't...

Newly installed Steeda springs and exhaust.

No rubbing with me either. Haven't towed anything, I'll have to get the tape out to give you the gap measurement. I went with steeda vs HR because I didn't want to drop it too much. I also did the sway bar and strut tower bar from steeda and it handles like a go kart now. Small increase in...

@FORZDA3 couldn't agree more. There's a small chance that if it's recalled within a year I'll be eligible for reimbursement.

    SLD Fenfab Diffy Stiffy NIB

@Redline8k, I replaced it on my own. The dealer price matched Tasca parts $1,180 for the part. I'm not sure what the labor is yet I pick it up from the shop this weekend

I replaced the subframe @FORZDA3 thanks for the info, the guys in parts couldn't understand why Ford would do something like this. Dropped it off at RareFab, can't wait to get it back should make great power and sound good too i'll post some youtube vids.

Hi @FORZDA3 Tasca has MB5Z-5035-A on back order with no ETA. The local dealer doesn't have it. Any suggestions before I just let Jesus take the wheel? I'm all for Ford footing the bill but like TMac said trying to bite the bullet and get out in front of it was the intention here.

LOL, so the Ford dealer cannot find the part Cross Member Assembly - Ford (MB5Z-5035-A). According to their parts dept MB5Z-5035-A is on back order and has been "replaced" in the notes section by MB5Z-5035-E (3 bolt sub). Checking with Tasca now per FORDZA's recommendation otherwise I'll guess...

@TMac it is a shitty move by Ford period, and no doubt a cost saving move. "Ford has tweaked the price of the 2022 Explorer ST version by $2000 making it more affordable." Whether it was actually cheaper or just kept production going who knows. I would have much rather waited given the option...

    Rear end damage

Update for everyone, they are not budging and I don't have the time or patience to go back and forth. Plus I don't want to lose my appointment at the shop (they have a three month back log). I'm using my ford points to offset the cost of the part and seeing if they'll at least sell it to me at...

    Rear end damage

Went to the dealer and they are looking into it showed them a 2020 ST on the with 4 bolts vs the three. According to their parts manager who claims to have contacted Ford there was a design change mid 2021 to move from 4 to three bolts. They are going to work on me at personal level but yea...

@2PAC & @Cdubya thanks fellas I really want to get it done before my mods because I can see that being a whole other mess. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow. Enjoy your weekend!

Hey saw you spent a 1M with ford in the past 5 years. Are you in construction by any chance?

    Rear end damage

@Cdubya @2PAC any words of wisdom, or specific word tracks I should use to increase my chances if it's .00001%? I know they shouldn't be used on the 3.0L model, I can point to the aviator, the chances of failure during towing esp with auto start/stop or "spirited" driving. Hell my 2020 I traded...
