    Install Rear Camera Washer

Anybody added the front camera washer after the delete?

    Camara's and RADAR detectors

Charged to 12.59V last night. Disconnected the dash cams and read it again 12 hours later, 12.38V. Am I wrong to conclude there’s a ghost draw? I realize there’s always some drain but, that much in 12 hours?

    Camara's and RADAR detectors

Since I last drove it, the cameras have been unplugged until 24 hours ago. This is because, after the windshield replacement, I waited 24 hours for the 3M tape to cure before reattaching the camera to the mount and plugging it in. So, after only 24 hours with the cameras connected, I just now...

    Camara's and RADAR detectors

I have those same Thinkwares on two Fords and agree completely with your assessments. And, the software is mediocre. I’ve noticed the ST frequently goes into hibernation despite the Thinkware being set to the lowest battery drain setting.

Above Spare Tire - Trunk storage bag

I think this may be it. Watch out for the shipping charge. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256802407833193.html

    Replacement windshield

I got a referral to a local mobile service that seems to do the majority of the dealer, better body shop and auction house work here. They were a bit less than Safelite and I was 101% satisfied with the entire experience. I did specify OEM glass which they quoted at ~ $200 more than aftermarket.

    Turning Off Highway Warning Notifications

I was embarrassed to admit I had no idea too.

    Replacement windshield

It took a couple weeks for the OEM glass to arrive. The tech came to my house and was gone 1:10 later, including the over the road recalibration. I found it fascinating to watch the process. The new glass does have that silhouette while what came on the car didn’t.

Installed a really slick LED strip - hope you enjoy!

I haven’t done this install so take my suggestion with a grain of salt. Assuming there’s enough wire (or adding a piece if there isn’t enough), I’d remove the red from #21 and touch it directly to the battery. That would tell me whether my ground connection is good.

Installed a really slick LED strip - hope you enjoy!

Did you also have to remove the rubber gasket on the hood? That’s what’s keeping me from this install.

What was your reaction the first time behind the wheel of a Explorer ST?

I bought mine sight unseen. No test drive, no nothing. I bought one the dealer had on order. That was back when the lots were completely empty.

    After Camera Recall

I wonder when they’ll come up with an update that’ll break my camera, which has worked perfectly since day one.

    Missed Shift??!?

Going 75 in CA? It was Gavin Newsom using the back door to remotely control your speed and emission of pollutants. You’re killing our grandchildrens’ planet!!!!

Installed a really slick LED strip - hope you enjoy!

Without the rubber strip on the hood, the hood slams down on the light strip, right? Is that a concern? Is it possible to attach the light strip forward of the rubber?

thinking of adding a hidden light bar

IMHO, a $60,000 vehicle comes with a lighted glove box.

    After Camera Recall

So, those of us who have had the update now have a virus? o_O

I'd like to meet the person who checks this box...

I’d gladly pay the $12 rather than risk voiding my warranty! :ROFLMAO:

is the Ford Thinkware dash cam setup plug and play?

It really isn’t a big deal to hardwire Thinkware cams to the fuse panel. I’m glad I did it. If you search around the forum, you’ll find discussions of that.
