    Review: Thermal R&D 3" Catback

Thermal is one of those absolute “must-haves” after buying an Explorer ST. I originally resisted, learned my lesson, and rectified the situation within a month.

    Thermal R&D 2.5" vs. 3"

CvFab catted DP’s and intercooler here- very happy with the results but you absolutely will crack those stock flex pipes. My original exhaust setup was the DP’s + welded in Valvetronics to keep the sound quiet when needed. Waste of money to be honest. Flex pipes leaked within 1,000 miles and...

    Explorer ST Valvetronic vs. Thermal

You can easily see the valve open or closed. While closed, the valvetronic has a nice tone with the setup I mentioned above. The leaking stock test pipes drove me nuts given it is essentially brand new.

    Downpipes

Plenty of Catted DP's to run that aren't astronomically expensive. I run the CVFab catted DPs and are very happy with them. Too raspy without cats on these ecoboost motors.

    Explorer ST Valvetronic vs. Thermal

Hey everyone - Three months into ownership of my '23 ST has me reflecting a bit on what I'd do differently and what I've truly enjoyed. I don't think that it comes as a surprise to anyone that we have an uphill battle in making these EcoBoost motors sound *decent*. There are lots of great...

Livernois Multi-Tune Features for 2020+ Explorer ST and Lincoln Aviator!! Here at Lethal Performance!!

I have this on my car. One of my favorite mods I’ve ever done on a car! Running an e85 blend and no E in your area at the moment? Adjust the ethanol content back while the car is off getting refueled. Takes less than 3 seconds. The car mentioned above by ridered74 is Paul Plester and last week...
