    Window sticker

I think it's cool to keep all, with some vehicles I send em back like trucks, basic cars, etc etc But for some of the more performance oriented stuff it's cool to keep the sticker, especially if it's built for you.

The St's Don't have the adaptive headlights? That's odd smh.

Locking Gas Cap - Have you tried any?

No Yeah that's a fair point. Bmw has it so where if the car is locked the fuel door won't open, when unlocked it will. I think with the way the new systems are set up you don't really have to fear the siphon, easier and cheaper for them to stick on a push to open gas cap.

Depends on the car, the St no but I laminated the hellcat and trx because they were specifically for me.

All things Hellcat (and other platforms) vs The Explorer

You make good points, the middle ground/alternative may be to just have run a ford performance tune (cost extra but retains warrant) that gives you an extra 60-70 hp on 91+ octane. I guess I have to remember that the niche group of performance guys might be running 91/93 but everyone else is...

All things Hellcat (and other platforms) vs The Explorer

Well to be fair in the case of the explorer I'm not so sure it would be producing these kinds of numbers on a supercharger, it's really an apples to oranges comparison in terms of motors yes they are both forced induction but you have v6 vs v8, supercharger versus turbocharger, etc etc I...

All things Hellcat (and other platforms) vs The Explorer

Yeah 100% with it, people have d!ck measuring contests or wanna sh*t on other people's cars. I used to want to be the biggest and baddest with my '17 hellcat but seeing some of its competitors I quickly realized there's always someone who's bigger, dropped more on mods, etc etc I'm also not a...

All things Hellcat (and other platforms) vs The Explorer

I have both as well. (Charger and the St.... if you want to count the trx I guess that one as well) It's honestly fun to do runs with people who know what they are doing. It allows people to benchmark different performance markers and see how vehicles line up against each other. Obviously...

    2022 Ford Explorer Platinum ST

Sorry about that! Sounds like a great idea, If you start the thread I'll post videos of me running St's against various stuff I have coming in, as would others. Would be a better place to discuss it as well.

All things Hellcat (and other platforms) vs The Explorer

Yeah that's the thing, most doing mods stop short of the turbos because of having to start touching the block and messing with longevity. The other thing is finding somebody with mods done, I have seen very few with the turbos and supporting mods. The zl1 1le will basically be a slower hellcat...

All things Hellcat (and other platforms) vs The Explorer

Zl1 1le should be nice, that car is made for the track tho, the aero will slow it down. As far as advanced track I dont think it really matters at 40 yet, you start putting more mods on and it will def cut power. Still waiting on my trx, picked up an m8 as well. The m8 is gonna shred the St...

All things Hellcat (and other platforms) vs The Explorer

Yeah I definitely think gearing is in favor of the St here, stop light to stop light the trx might win but after 65-70 the truck just isn't geared to run for much longer.

Lmao he fixed it, he has 23s tho, must be a decently low profile tire.

All things Hellcat (and other platforms) vs The Explorer

On stock pirellis I could see that happening, 40 is still hard to reel in the car on stock tires. 65+ would be more realistic from a traction perspective. Also if he's running a legmaker intake like many are then he's doing worse than the stock airbox or other options. I think on radials or...

Get a better steering wheel, one with carbon fiber, shift lights, etc etc As far as tapping in to making the paddle shifters active, that might be as simple as plug and play or extremely complicated, you would have to pull diagrams of both the ST and platinum steering columns to determine that...

What kind of hellcat? There are narrow bodies, durango's, charger's, challengers, etc etc What mods are you running?

    Valvetronic Exhaust

They are as quiet as stock, I can't speak for those who did the x pipe but if you don't do the x pipe you can leave the valves open all the time without drone..... obviously it will sound louder on acceleration but that's what you want with an open valve system.

Are you looking for all season or just a performance tire? The michelin ps4s are a great tire, I have had great experiences with the continental dws06 as well. Pirelli I am not a huge fan of, stock 305s on the hellcat are subpar, the stock Pirelli's on the St also leave some to be desired...
