    ST - Storm Trooper Build

You have more skills, or confidence, than I do. I'd never think about taking the dash apart that far, lol. In fact, I have a rattle back there and I'm waiting to get it in to the dealer to get it fixed. I'm afraid to pop off the panel with the start button to tighten it up because it moves...

    Console Vault

I wish everything installed as easy as this vault.

The Not So Rapid Red Project

Finally got the H&R springs installed. Also did a cut & polish and ceramic coat, getting ready for those harsh TX winters, lol. Time to give the credit card a little break while I contemplate how far I want to go with performance parts. CAI is a definite addition but I'm not sure beyond that.

The Not So Rapid Red Project

I have a pressure washer but you can do the same thing with a hose and sprayer attachment. I just used Gunk engine cleaner although it didn't really need it, since it wasn't all greasy and oily from leaks. Soap and water with a little pressure would do the same thing on a new vehicle, if you...

FS SOLD SOLD SOLD 2020 Explorer ST Factory 20" Wheels and Tires

I'd like to get $2000 for them but I'm in Dallas, TX. That's a long way from RI. I could ship them but I'm guessing it would cost around $400, that's just a guess though.

    Console Vault

I have that same vault and mounted a magnet to the drivers side so that it will hold a firearm with the grip pointed at the passenger side and, coincidentally the barrel pointing down so if there's an accidental discharge the drive shaft is in trouble. It's the quickest way to extract it that I...

License plate and trailer hitch cover

I'm still trying to talk myself into that expense from Zeus.

The Not So Rapid Red Project

Made a little more progress today with Steeda sway bar and Thermal exhaust installs. If anyone is thinking about doing these two mods, I highly recommend doing them at the same time. I pulled my entire exhaust out first which made the sway bar a lot easier than it looks in the installation...

    Thanks, it's getting there slowly.

The Not So Rapid Red Project

Took the easy route this weekend and did the strut tower brace and the ECU cover. Got a little anal with it with the black mesh behind the ECU cover and painting all the bolts and washers black which held up pretty good until I got around to torqueing the strut tower bolts. Might have to find a...

    1.25 Bora Spacers

This is assuming you want the aluminum - Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings for your car! | Motorsport Tech (motorsport-tech.com) I bought some cheap black spline drive lug nuts at Auto Zone and they worked fine with both the 1.00 and 1.25 - White Knight Pack Wheel Nut 538094...

The Not So Rapid Red Project

I did not take any pictures of the cut studs unfortunately. I measured them for 1-1/8 length because there is a little relief in the back of the rim that allows for a little protrusion past the spacer (see picture). The picture of the studs is the back which were 1-1/4 spacers I have my springs...

Yes, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

The Not So Rapid Red Project

I got the Bora spacers installed today. Went with 1.00 front and 1.25 rear.

    1/4” Hub-centric spacers

Got my spacers installed today, 1.00 front and 1.25 rear.

    1/4” Hub-centric spacers

The website says 10 to 12 weeks but I ordered 8/28 and received a shipped notice on 9/7. I’ll have them Monday. I don’t know how I got so lucky but I’m not complaining lol. I just wish I could have gotten that lucky with my springs.

    1/4” Hub-centric spacers

That is correct. As stated earlier in this thread, if you go with 1.25" or larger you don't have to do any trimming. Personally, I think 1.25 on the front puts the wheels out too far so I went 1.00 front and 1.25 rear. I haven't received them yet or I would share pictures. They are supposed to...
