    ST - Storm Trooper Build

So I got a little impatient and pulled the chisel tip marker out of my golf bag and did a test. It is the standard Sharpie red but it’s really dark when you put it on. I’ll have to clean up the leather on the test but I’m also going to try both fine tip and regular tip Sharpies.

    Carbonized Grey touchup paint source

I use Touch Up Direct. They have several options based on the type of application. http://touchupdirect.com/. They probably are not the cheapest but their colors do match, in my experience. I just received some Rapid Red for my 2020 ST.

Welcome to the Explorer ST Forum, please post an introduction

Hey y'all, new member from Dallas, TX. Picked my Rapid Red ST up in Dec. 2020 but just found this forum. Not yet sure if I'm glad about that, this forum could cost me a lot of money if I try and "keep up with the Jones'", lol. Had a 2014 Sport on a 39 month lease then went to a 2016 Taurus but I...

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Hey Unbroken, thanks for sharing your build, you have an awesome ride. I don't know if I am glad I found this forum or not, I think it is going to cost me a lot of money, lol. Since I don't have the skills you, and some of the others do, it will cost me a lot more having to have someone do the...

    ST - Storm Trooper Build

Thanks for the quick reply. I will check out YouTube. I may also run by a local upholstery place too and see what it would cost to have some red inserts put into the seats, I just haven't quite figured out where to put them yet, I don't want it to be too gawdy. It's going to be a time consuming...

    ST - Storm Trooper Build

Do you have any recommendations on how to dye the stitching red? I have a Rapid Red ST and the white stitching just doesn't look right. I've added a couple of simple things with red accent, like a steering wheel cover (I am jealous you are getting a custom steering wheel but it's not in my...

Is this the seat cooling fan

I've noticed the same thing. For as much noise as the blower makes at full speed you would expect better cooling. My 2014 Sport was way better than the 20 ST. I feel a little bit at my lower back but nothing coming up through the seat.

    Has anyone changed exhaust tips?

Those look nice. The exhaust tips are the only chrome my Rapid Red has. It's too bad that the manufacturer had to plaster their name on all of them, I think they'd look better without the name.

    MRT Hood Struts

So you've installed the MRT kit with no issue? I was getting ready to buy them until I saw this thread.

License plate and trailer hitch cover

I bought this one off Etsy for the back. Since the trim is black it looks way better than the chrome one the dealer put on. It did rattle a little so I used some 3M trim adhesive to secure the plate to the frame and then but a couple dollops on the bottom screw inserts to secure the whole thing...
