    Bad Vibration After Tire Rotation

I agree about checking the lug nuts but something makes me think they are probably fine. As far as a "break in period" goes that is BS. They are just hoping that you get used to it and don't notice it anymore. It is not unusual to develop a vibration after a tire rotation, we see it all the time...

    New SYNC version is Available

I recently switched from Cox to Verizon 5g home internet and was having issues with some of my things connecting, including the ST, to the Verizon setup due to WIFI 6. I just plugged my old router into the Verizon box and problem solved.

    EVAP code

I don't think the evap purge valve is going to fix your issue. The purge valve is normally closed and the pcm turns it on to draw vapors from the fuel tank. If it were stuck open it would not allow pressure to build inside of the fuel tank and therefore you would not hear air pressure releasing...

RESOLVED: Clicking: P to D (video)

This problem also plagues older Explorers as well as Nissan's. Gm has a synthetic grease that I used to use for lubing steering intermediate shafts due to clunking that is SUPER tacky that works well for solving this issue. You loosen the axle and push it in and apply the grease to the splines...

    Whining Noise at Shutdown

Perhaps it's the engine cooling fan spinning down??

    Thermal R&D 2.5" vs. 3"

I love a good exhaust but drone is not something I would ever put up with no matter how little. I have the 2.5. Absolutely 0 drone at any speed. When you get on it you do hear it but it is no where near not being bearable.

    Smoking on startup after sitting

If it's the turbo issue(which it sounds like it is) oil doesn't get in the cylinders. The oil leaks internally in the turbo and goes into the exhaust where it gets burnt. The engine needs to sit overnight after it has been ran and then without starting the exhaust needs to be removed. Once...

    Smoking on startup after sitting

Do you think this really qualifies as a safety issue?

    Smoking on startup after sitting

I find this interesting being that Ford does not rebuild turbos in house. If there is an issue they replace it. Someone there is not being honest with you or does not know what they are doing... hope it's not both!

    Smoking on startup after sitting

I feel for everyone that is fighting this issue and having to put up with dealerships that don't have a clue. The process of getting mine fixed was fairly easy but I do have an in at the dealership that I took mine to. This is becoming a very common issue that is fixed with the replacement of...

    Smoking on startup after sitting

Replacing the driver side turbo seems to have solved my smoking issue at startup.

    Smoking on startup after sitting

So here is a video of mine with the smoke at startup issue. heavy smoke at cold start On mine the issue only happens when it is parked level or facing uphill (my driveway has a slight incline to it). The issue does not happen with the nose of the vehicle pointed downhill. It must also have been...

    ST vs. The Competition

This is exactly the reason I sold my 21 Ram but come to find out my ST isn't that much better. I do miss the interior of the Ram and how quiet and well it rode but the ST is ALOT more fun to drive.

F150 problem similar to Explorer drive shaft

So based on me liking the option of auto park brake and brake hold can you please tell me what my fears, feels and driving situations are. I am genuinely curious how you can extrapolate so much information about me based on this comment.

To whom are you referring to when you use the word "your"?

F150 problem similar to Explorer drive shaft

I don't know why people get so bent out of shape because the parking brake gets set automatically. You literally have to do nothing other than put your foor on the go pedal to get it to release. I wish all cars had it. My Ram had it but it was selectable. Honestly auto park brake and auto brake...
