Did you purchase an extended warranty?

With modern vehicles requiring so many special tools for service, not to mention all the technology, the Ford ESP is well worth it. But...you have until the 3/36 point to buy it, and many dealers sell them online for about half of what your selling dealership will charge. Bought the 8/100...

    Borla Exhaust Upgrade

Ford Performance doesn't "make" any aftermarket exhaust systems - they are put out by vendors. They have traditionally used Borla for some kits on earlier vehicles and if they did show something in their catalog at some point, it will be a derivative of a kit that already is iin the market. An...

    WeatherTech mats now available

The Ford all-weather mats have better coverage than the Husky or Weathertech mats for once, especially the front set.

    Cold air intake

Correct. I only included the other diagram as a reference to show where all the piping fit. On my previous 3.5L, it was easy since there was one inlet leading to a single outlet - definitely different here. Yes, noticed that too. Not sure of the rationale, maybe just packaging? Edit: Dug this...

    Cold air intake

A CAI on this engine not only will be complicated, but as already mentioned, probably not worth much as far as gains go. You can find the diagrams right on the Ford Parts site easily. Intake, to the turbochargers: From the turbochargers, through the intercooler, and back to the TB:

    Missing Parts

South of Detroit by a couple hours. Interestingly, my previous '14 Explorer Sport (built for the same region) had a towing eye unlike this one. Not sure of the justification, but not worried about it in this case.

Auto Stop/Start Sucks. Who's with me??

Another thumbs-up for the Autostop Eliminator (<----LINK). As already mentioned, just a few minutes to install. Great product and nice to support a small business. Thanks to Travis there for making this possible. Here's a shot of it behind the cover. Only needed to lift the top half up and it...

    Missing Parts

Not all come with the towing eye. Pop the front cover where it installs - if there is not a spot to thread it in, that’s your answer. The parts department at my selling dealership printed out the HVBoM for me, which also indicated “Less towing hooks”, both front and rear. The owners manual...

    Lowered yesterday!

This spring swap is a horrible idea. While they may physically fit, the spring rates are not going to be comparable since one chassis is FWD based and the other is RWD. The ST has stiff rear springs and putting the previous version in is going to be detrimental for handling. Simply lowering a...

    2nd row bench option

First post here. Longtime performance car guy and have been on sites like SVTPerformance and a couple others for 20+ years. Other toy is a very modified 2003 Cobra. Picked up my ST last week after six years of owning a '14 Explorer Sport. Liked the last one just fine (although just a big Taurus...
