Because a 22x11 with a 305 series tire doesn't fit up front. So unless you want to run a staggered setup, 10.5 is what you buy. Me and a couple others have mocked this up and unless you feel like trimming your fender liner, it rubs, at any offset, from +25 to +35.

If your brain is in the same spot mine is (I'm 100% going to wrap it), a gloss surface is better for vinyl adhesion (and more importantly removal/replacement) than a raw 3-d print or unpainted.

I did 55% (over 70% factory) on my windshield, 15% (over 70% factory) on the front windows, and 20% (over 20% factory) on everything else (including pano roof) in XPEL XR+ ceramic tint on my vehicle and its been amazing. basically zero heat penetration and i don't even need to wear...

lol, quite true. even the true performance wagons are getting taller... 4" separates the new RS6 and a Q3. an allroad is actually taller than a macan with PASM in the low setting--silly times we live in.

look at @blaster9 's rig. i believe he has fitted the largest off-road tire that you can stuff in these things and its a 265. you could maybe go to 285 with a lower profile tread but its still gonna be dicey. i really like this tool for mocking up fitment. you can't increase OD AND offset too...

the widest you will want to go on a 9" rim will be 285. Even then, the tire mfgs recommend a 9.5" wheel for 285. of course you can find folks that go wider but its generally a bad idea. whats also a bad idea is running two different diameters of tire. a 315/40(r) and 305/40(f) setup will not work.

Interesting that the dealer is either continuing to put in a different fill/blend or this engine is a little rougher on oil than most. I will be doing the next change with Mobil 1 and see what happens (this fill was supposed to be synthetic per Ford). Has Ford resolved their issues with fuel...
