    Cleaning the Inside Rim

If you want them clean the only way is to get in there with a detail spray and towel after washing it. I've taken mine off and sealed the barrels and while it makes it easier to clean them if you want them perfect you need to get in there and wipe them.

Has anyone shopped for blacked out emblems?

I don't have any experience with emblem city, but I have the full set of OEM Auto Art ones and they're all top notch, but definitely spendy.

    Spray detailer

Well, yes in the fact that you spray it on and wipe it off, but rinseless wash mixes are geared more towards removing dirt than say a quick detailer which is meant for very light dust or fingerprints. I use Mckees N914, but Wolfgang Uber is excellent as well.

    Spray detailer

I'd use a rinseless or waterless wash, safer and also more economical

Beat up by a car wash

You shouldn't, if it needs it by all means, but using a clay bar is a once a year thing at the most, which also necessitates polishing afterwards.

Beat up by a car wash

If you're clay barring "every weekend" you don't know diddly squat about detailing.

Rebadge, Debadge or Leave it Stock , what is your preference?

No it just pops off, takes a bit of force but no need to get at the rear one from behind

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Put my wheel spacers on and detailed. Looks so much better with the wheel spacers. Would love to lower it a bit but not in the cards currently as I may be getting rid of it for something else in the next year.

    Good clean humor and jokes

How do you know if someone has a ZFG tune on their car? They'll make sure to bring it up don't worry.

What’s the deal with the fiber/fabric in the wheel wells??

I use a pressure washer on mine with a 25 degree tip and zero issues. Just don't be an idiot. A power washer is an indispensable detailing tool.

    Car wash/detail tips

I spray some detail spray and wipe it with my hand....not the most fun exercise but if you keep on it they go quickly. Even using a brush you still need a wipe if you want to get them perfect. I took mine off and clayed and polished and sealed them, makes it easier to clean but the process...

What don't you like about your ST?

The large screen looks nice, but horrid execution. Wind noise is bad, transmission shifts rough. Other than that I've been mostly happy with it and no issues with a year old ownership.

    Rear Door Mesh Shades

My kids love them, especially on trips. Holding up fine even with them messing with them constantly, but I also don't have them up with the windows down.
