Well, there are trans options out there if you wanna plunk down the cash. https://www.puredrivetrainsolutions.com/ford-transmissions offers a 10R60 build (although their site only shows 10R80 rebuilds). I believe @hellhorseperformance has done a handful of 10R60 builds as well.

This is why people like manual transmissions. There’s like 3 or 5 things that can fail, all mechanical, all easy to diagnose. Anyways. @TMac what are your thoughts on the likelihood this can be solved with a built transmission? That’d solve the issue if it were related to clutch engagement? But...

Quite the document… it appears to state the cause is essentially unknown and the recommendations are to update the PCU, TCU, and then rebuild the transmission if symptoms are still exhibited.

The slippage happens with traction control off, but I'm sure I have no idea what is wrong or if traction control being "off" means anything to the transmission or torque converter. The only mods I have are a ZFG tune and intercooler. It'd be nice if we could collate some data on this instead...

Oh, uh, are you asking me? Yes, this was in my post: Also I'd like to note that if you check the fluid when the car isn't running and isn't as warm, the level is MUCH HIGHER on the stick. With the engine off and the trans a little cooler, the fluid was at the "2" mark on the dipstick.
