    2021 ST Speaker Upgrade

If you love bass, a powered sub is key. Without getting into full replacement of the system entirely, I recommend replacing the 3" and 6x9" drivers--can play reasonably loud (I usually max out at volume level of 12) while increasing sound quality significantly over stock. Also do some sound...

    Missed Shift??!?

Sounds like what many of us have experienced on occasion. https://www.explorerst.org/threads/hard-launch-transmission-disengages.4379/

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Interesting that yours appears to be the original design. Steeda for a time had been selling a brace with bends towards the ends and didn't fit so well. I wonder if they just screwed up batch and now have it corrected. Personally, I like the original (the one you have). This is CajunHeat's.

    HD Radio Station Logo Missing

Maybe it's area dependent, but I've never seen the logo of any stations. Clearly you are getting HD radio though.

    HD Radio Station Logo Missing

Is that your screen or are you just showing what it's supposed to look like but doesn't. Did you enable it in the audio settings?

    Black Exhaust Tips.

The stock muffler pipes (2 per muffler) coming out of the muffler are 2" on my MY2020. Did they change something for MY2022+?

Which aftermarket exhaust & down pipes are the quietest?

My take if you want relatively quiet: Lethal midpipe, MRT H-pipe, 4" black muffler tips.

    Oil life meter

If you do 10k mile changes, definitely check the oil level at 5k. Mine needs about 1/2 qt.

    Hands-Free Foot activated Lift Gate

Strangely enough, some 22s appear to still have the hardware to do it but the feature isn't active because it was officially discontinued. There is an interesting thread in the other forum about it. https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/threads/adding-in-deleted-hands-free-lift-gate.500930/

Love the new 2.5" Thermal R&D catback <3

That doesn't replace the OE flex sections though. To me, those have got to go if you are already doing the midpipe back.

Dealer and PremiumCare saying rattling flex pipes no longer being covered under warranty

Let us know what happens. If the downpipes are cracked, they replace those. If the the flex sections have failed, they'll likely replace those. If they just rattle, probably nothing will be done.

Dealer and PremiumCare saying rattling flex pipes no longer being covered under warranty

No, that is the catalytic converter pipe--not what we are calling the midpipe with the flex sections. There is a recall for the catalytic converter pipe. If I'm not mistaken, it would be covered under recall no matter what your mileage is. I had it replaced at 55k miles under recall. Just...

    Battery upgrade

I would try to pull the negative terminal of the battery for a few minutes, and see if the entire car resetting can help with your deep sleep. After a visit with the dealer where some modules were updated, I used to get the deep sleep message shortly after parking the car--even after long...

Dealer and PremiumCare saying rattling flex pipes no longer being covered under warranty

After 2 1/2 years, my passenger side flex section had a gaping hole. I didn't smell exhaust in the cabin but my exhaust sound got progressively louder. I opted for the lethal midpipe because I had no faith in the "revised" OE pipe that looks like it has the identical flex sections (appearance...

    Tire Replacement @ 31k Miles

Superior grip. They are quite comfy and quiet...however, difficult to compare since they are new and my recollections of the Scorpions mostly after significant wear. That said, the Pirelli's were decent tires but my experience with previous Michelin Pilot A/S is nothing but positive. However...
