I'm just wondering if I would need a resonator and a muffler or just the muffler . I haven't looked underneath to see the setup but thought the straight pipe with muffler at the end would work without waking up the dead .

I thought the same thing but it is expensive for what you get . I see Magnaflow is making something also but pretty sure it will be up there in price also . I think i am going to listen to you and do custom piping but add a muffler . I am really torn between the Magnaflow #10416 and the MBRP...

Post #35 and #49 will give you a video difference in sound . Of course it's not like being physically there to hear it but it helps .

Let me do some research . Its hard to find a good sounding muffler for our platform because nobody has the 3L for reference . I was doing some research on the ecoboost Mustang but that's a 4 and i know the sound would change a bit .

I would have to hear it rolling from the outside to figure out what i want to try . What do you guys suggest for a muffler ?

That looks amazing . I would love to hear what this thing sounds like from the outside . Is it completely obnoxious or does it give it the right amount of growl ? I was considering doing the straight 3" with some kind small muffler for sound change .

Pretty sure i'm going with the ATAK setup . Doesn't really sound that there is a huge difference between the S-Type and ATAK . Coming from a LTH , Stage 3 supercharged C63 AMG , noise is not an issue for me ;)

That would definitely explain why the rear sits up higher than it should . Looks like there could be a 200lb difference between a 2019 and a 2020 ST , according to Google , so a stiffer spring for the 2019 would make the 2020 sit higher .

My guess is it might be difficult if you are looking for the same sound out of the "muffler only" setup as opposed to the full exhaust . You can probably get close . I'm no expert or scientist , but would guess they made these for the perfect sound and performance for this platform . Although ...

Turbosmart asked me to reach back out to them after i install it to see how it fits and what i think . I did so let's see if they just create a new part # on an existing product . I think it all comes down to the limited demand .
