Very odd bug. First I’ve heard of that happening.

They can I believe, although I’ve always done mine via usb. But I will say with these systems, it very well could of been a bug and just restarted itself for no reason lol

Just posted in the other thread. According to the dealer, my battery is fine and passed the test. However, it clearly is still on its way out but still strong enough to keep things running. Everything but ASS.

Passed according to ford. I continue to have no issues at all. No more deep sleep messages or anything. Just no ASS. I guess I’m in a good place lol

Yeah, as usual everything comes down to money.

It’s really the software implementation and UI that is the problem. But most car manufacturers fail in this regard. My mothers new rav4 hybrid infotainment system is garbage.

You have to have both the lane assist feature off and the distance indicator feature. Then it will move to the center. The distance feature is whatever but I definitely like fords lane assist feature. Works very well and hardly noticeable when working.

Okay yeah that makes sense lol but fyi the seats aren’t actually cooled. They’re ventilated. The 5th gen had cooled seats. And it’s a pretty big difference.

Wait your 13 was faster than the 22? No way. Maybe I’m reading it wrong. but I actually miss the cooling seats of my 17. Ventilated seats on my 22 largely suck.

I’ve been wanting to do this but at the same time, I don’t notice it enough or it simply doesn’t bother me. Or maybe my axle back exhaust helps to drown it out. Idk.

What do you miss? My 22 ST is better than my 17 limited in pretty much every way possible. Only thing that was cool about my limited was it had a button to adjust the pedals.

Totally get your frustration, but Ford is far from the only manufacturer doing this. Not that it will make you feel better but just the way of the world right now. Think of it this, if it bothers you in another year, trade it out for a new 24. Your 23 will have better resale value than the 20...

Let me be clear. My ST runs fine and I have no issues with my battery technically. Just no ASS. Which is fine. And perhaps since everything else is fine, I’ve been focusing on the battery. Of note, my charger did switch to charge and checking it an hour later, 12.86.

Oh yeah I did test it right after removing it. I will try that.

Not sure if my trickle charger is working correctly, but after using a trickle charger and the battery is “charged”, how much voltage does your battery read? My tender is supposed to be a smart one and will switch to a “charged” mode when I guess it’s just that, charged. But even after 16 hrs on...

I’m only in 12 months though. But everything works fine and I have no issues overall. So no big deal really.
