I just got new rims and Blizzaks from TireRack, $1800.

Is this something that you guys are installing yourself? Otherwise, what's an average cost to get that done?

I was wondering the same thing, it's a fairly large gap in price.

I've called most of the ones that are within 20 miles, either no longer in business or won't do it. Maybe they think I'm the emissions police or something, no idea.

I'm anxiously waiting to see this system as well. There probably is a decent shop somewhere, I'm just not in the 'know' I guess!

The R7 is now ready to protect my insurance rates.

It came with zip ties to attach it to the existing mirror cable. I used a blendmount bracket attached to the mirror.

Inserted the tap and popped it back in.

It was much easier to pull out the mounting clip to see the connector straight on.

It's the harness on the passenger side, wire 1 (white) is positive and wire 3 (black) is ground.
