So I finally got around to disabling the fake engine noise so you guys can hear it in all it’s glory

so i did this to my explorer, but now with the value set at 9 instead of 4. i have little to no audible warning when the reverse detects an object or when closing the rear hatch. is there a way to fix this?

in his OEM picture it shows a Y pipe feeding the first muffler, our ST has two inputs into the first muffler.

i havnt noticed any shaking. the type of flex joint TRD used has a tight weave mesh around the flex where as the stock has more of a chicken wire loose fitting encasing it. i use the same type of tight fit mesh on the pipes of my race truck and they dont rattle at all (when theyre new). over...

i meant comparing the ranger in any model to the ST explorer. the explorer sold better than the ranger, but the ST is a small chunk of those sales. Ranger has a long history of aftermarket support and sales. the explorer, not so much

i was confused because my ST has dual input and output on the stock muffler under the car. must be a different system for the EU market.

can you get pictures of the underside of your car? im having a hard time understanding what you mean by X PIPE single IN and double out.... sounds pretty good though. got a nice deep grunt to it.

you drove an AUDI and you think the explorers engine shakes? HAHAHA there was an issue with lose motor mount bolts from the factory, maybe check that first.

it definitely doesn't sound as deep in video format like it does in real life. phones cannot capture the deeper tones as the human ear can.

Definitely, it’s almost impossible to hear the fake engine noise now. when In comfort and towing mode, the fake engine noise is almost non existent. Sport mode you can still hear the fake engine noise. overall, it’s very noticeable but not obnoxious. im going to try and do the Forscan thing...

out last night picking up dinner decided to get some mild throttle sound clips in the quite night time air.

Rear shots are going to have to wait until morning, the low light makes it hard to see the tips. I tried, but the iPhone low light isn’t that fantastic after all.

They told me it’s a bit tamer with the stock mid pipes.
